i am a 26 yr old young woman. i really look young for my age tho. i dress young and im a but immature and innocent looking.i have a baby face and i am innocent. i dont have that much of an adult life yet. i dont carry myself like a woman, more like a college aged girl or teen.
i dont dress sophisticated either. i dont wear heels or makeup usually or a fancy handbag or designer things. i wear basic things and bright colors that i guess a teen might wear. at my age we can go either way, we can wear teen and college aged things or more grown woman stuff and designer things. i look young so i can pull off wearing the bright turquise and the teen stuff

i dont know how young i look, but i walked into a grown womans clothing store. it dosnt sell junior stuff and i was shopping for stuff.
i dont think anyone under 18 would buy from that store but maybe some teens might buy womens style.
as soon as i walked in the saleswoman called me "sweetie" and i smiled and thought that its so odd because i have barely been called anything like that since i was 17 or under. they refered to me as sweetie 5 times. they kept saying"sweetie do you need any help"
, sort of as if they are talking to a young teen. and when i went to pay the other saleslady called me sweetie 2 times.

is it normal or the usual thing to call a 26 yr old woman sweetie?

i know its nice, its a nice gesture but i felt odd having these 35 year old women working at store calling me sweetie.

usually strange people at stores call me miss or maam.

do young women in their mid 20s usually get called sweetie? like a 26 yr old

or is it usually teen girls and children who get called this. did they think i was under 18.? how old did they think i was? a teen probably. im wondering how old people think i look
i dont think it would help how i dress. i look really young. i cant get rid of the baby face and im fine with it. i love looking young.. its terrific. maybe i will age later then people my age.
no matter what i wear or how much makeup i put on i dont think i could look older then 21 or 22. really lol.
but who cares i just hope i dont get carded or treated unfairly like a delinquient if i go to a store during highschool hours lol. they used to have a rule not letting people into stores if your under 17 and its before 3pm or something on a school day.
i dont want people being like im calling your parents…. like some immature highschool kid. sometimes kids underage are treated unfairly or followed around stores

I am very upset in how there is an overwhelming amount of clothing options for girls in department stores. I like my son to wear a sophisicated, classy, sporty urban look. The only clothes that come close to these looks are at babygap and children’s place in pittsburgh, pa. but unfortunately they charge an arm and a leg for baby clothes which only has but so much fabric to it! do yal feel theres a market out there for an all boys clothing store?
I want to be able to buy clothes for my son without having to use coupons or wait for good sales to get the clothing I want and i dont think anybody else with son’s should have to either. girls clothes dont cost that much!

Girls have several clothing stores to choose from but little boys dont. the market im gearing towards is only males from newborn to toddler with inexpensive clothing in it. including coats, ties, suits, hats, wallets, etc.

what are your lo’s going as? hunter just turned 1 and he will be 13 months at halloween and he will be going as dumbo. i went to this great place called once upon a child, its a used childrens clothing store that buys all your used baby things. I sold some infant clothes and i got hunter a dumbo costume, authentic disney dumbo for 8 bucks!

I am interested in working and taking care of infants. I worked in the front office of an elementary school and now i work at Carter’s a baby clothing store. what i really want is to be able to play and take care of babies. I seem to find my only options are working at a daycare(and being specific about being in the infant room) or being nanny. the only problem about being a nanny is i can’t just ask every woman with a baby "can i baby sit your child?"

I was hoping someone had more ideas about careers that involve infant care.

This might be dumb to comment but there should be like a nanny-temp-agency. or something. thanks for any help you can give.
