Me and my daughter are in dire need for baby boy clothes for her new baby born December 26th, 2007. I would be more than will to help however I just had 2 children in the hospital and lost my job. i am barely scrapping by myself. Please dont look down on us we are just haveing some hard times. I’m trying to set up a nursery for my baby girl due in 13 weeks. Ideally I need a bassinet, some other type of bed for when she gets bigger (Have not decided between pack n play or crib, or any other type if anyone has any recommendations) a changing table, and also some clothes. I’m almost 28 weeks and I don’t have much, this is my first baby and I have no clue what I’m doing. Please some advice? also trying to do this on a slim budget.

When i had my twins, I remember leaving them in the lil hospital nightgown the whole time we were there until the day we went home and then put clothes on them but I am now hearing of people dressing their newborn the first day of birth….what do you think?

I am a new mom and my washing machine broke in the middle of washing my newborns clothes, it already had the deft detergent on the clothes and I had to finish washing them by hand. Now my question is, I rinsed them as much as I could but I feel like I could never rinse all the detergent out like a machine… So if there is some detergent left in the clothes will this irritate the baby’s skin? I really dont want to take my baby’s clothes to a laundry mat, will this be alright?

I wash all of my daughters clothes and bedding in Dreft baby detergent. I took out some "clean" burp cloths to use and I placed it on my shoulder and realized that it smelled like spit-up! Is that detergent TOO gentle? Give me some feedback!!

I was doing laundry and i had put the clothes that just got out of the dryer on top. I pulled out the lint trap to empty it and then the baby sock fell in. I cant find the end of the lint trap…it must go all the way to the bottom and i cant get it out. i tried using a wire hanger but still no luck. Any solutions?

I was 9 pounds and 3 ounce baby and my take home outfit was 0-3 months.Should i go ahead and get my baby 0-3 months clothes and skip the newborns.and if she is big as i was she will fit in them and if she is a little bit smaller she will have squirm room andgroom in to them.
a lot of babies i know are 7 pounds and they are the first baby.
and this would be my first baby and the y are usually 7 pounds.so if she turned out to be 7 pounds should i still let her wear the 0-3 monthes size

Please comment in inches as I don’t understand cm. I know that the average baby is 20 inches long from heat to toe. Please help. I am 19 years old and love to crochet and this is my first time making clothes. I appreciate all of the help!!!
