I crochet pretty baby blankets that I used to donate to a charity that distributed in Hospitals.?

My wife is trying to be a minimalist and not be such a packrat like me so every since our children were born as soon as they don’t fit something she either sold it on Ebay or gave it away. I had to persuade her to hold on to a few pieces that I really liked for sentimental value. Her thought is they are just clothes she rather have pictures and scrapbook for the memories. We recently moved and as we are not having anymore children for sure she got rid of everything. There were d more than 15 trash bags full of clothes that went to charity and that is just the ones I convinced her to keep. So as of now we have nothing but their first shoes left from the infant stage.
Nona do like my wife does get rid of them in screte. I am the same way left to me we would have everything. She got rid of so many things without me knowing. Her friend came and got them and took them to chairties. Sometimes I helped pack a bag of our things then before I could take it she slipped things in there

I was looking to start a charity that’s like baby bundles (collecting baby necessities like bottles, bibs, formula, ETC for poor mothers with babies) but more unique. I think too many people are involved in baby bundles to make it unique. Not that baby bundles isn’t unique, I would like to try my own thing. Any ideas would help, no sarcasm please. Thanks!

I’m looking for 1000-5000 pieces of baby/toddler t-shirts and onesies for a business venture/non-profit community charity. Will pay to have them produced to specs. Does anyone have any ideas? How do I find companies who produce or import basic kids clothing?

At work, it seems to always be someone’s birthday, another baby, or the constant urge to buy for charity. While all of these are good causes, I would prefer to select my own chartiable causes and would like to buy my personal friends gifts not mere colleagues. How do I do this tactfully, but to a point that I just don’t want to participate in these things at work. In the same since, if it was my birthday or shower I would not want them to buy me anything. It just not my style.

but not so much after she has had the child?

I know some pregnant women (not pregnant now) that were in need of some things for the baby. Everyone jumped to find their old cribs, bassinets, car seats and gently used infant clothes.

Now, I know some of the children at my kids schools are in need of things. I mentioned to one of the moms I know, that I was cleaning out our office and we had an old bunk bed (about 2 years old) and I might put a flyer up at the school for someone to just come take it. Also, a few bags of gently used children’s clothing.
She said that was weird.. why not take it to goodwill? I thought, well, because they will CHARGE for it there. I just want to give it away.

I notice everyone is anxious to step in for new babies and pregnant women, but is it really considered weird to offer things to older children (5 to 12)?
I wouldn’t make the flyer sound like charity. I would just something like, "Pink Bunk Bed, excellent condition. Must go- so Free to first person that responds!" And then something similiar for the clothing.

After getting two more big boxes of cloths yesterday my girlfriend mayma and I decided we should try to donate the surplus we have enough for 10 babies but are only expecting two but we’ve never heard of a baby clothes charity do any of yall know a good one?
we would especially apperciate charities that donate to 3rd wold countries

doesnt it seem like people in the US seem to be greedy.it seems like they dont really care about anyone about themselves.im just talking about the majority,they seem to live in a materialistic world.if they can afford it they dont give to charity,they dont go on mission trips and they dont VOLUNTEER and they dont do much else except listen to their ipods and buy designer clothes.of course they do other things but not much.those are just a couple of things that they do-also im talking about a lot of teenagers-not all of them but did you know that 1 out of every 24 teenage girls will have babies in the next year?-they are getting pregnant and are just dumb.they drink and drive and do drugs and SOME DO THESE THINGS NOT ALL-what do you think on this matter and why are people so selfish?
i am not trying to be prejudice but im an american and i hate it here.why i live its materialistic.also for the lady that had a child at 17 im not being mean im just talking about the people that dont mean to get pregnant and that are foolish and dont use protection.ok?besides if you do do it and get pregnant that is pretty foolish because if you think about the consequences its bad.thats all i can say.
