Hello, In two years I will have to decide what college I want to go to. Eversince middle school I always wanted to do comic book illustration and love to bring my characters to life and probably major in film/animation. But during my junior year i never had patience for making 400 frames. and during my senior year an alumni said comic book people dont make a lot of money. for the senior show my art didn’t like my painting and said fashion is what i am good at. Even when making comic book art, alot of people had recognized the clothes saying i should work in the costume department. I made these pretty hats and people said they liked them. even if i majored fashion design in college, time flies quick and so does styles. Including brand names like rock a wear, sean jhons, & baby phat. And during the economy, alot of feedback from some art schools say that SOME fashion designers dont make a lot of money unless they are well known. I even want to be a jewelry and accessories designer probably making purses and shoes and whatever.I am trying to learn the basics of sewing and patternmaking. Because of this I am at a local college.
please help me!

I have found names like Cocalo Couture and N Selby but that is all so far. I love the quality compared to the cheaper brands and I am actually able to find some of it on websites like Overstock and Amazon for alot less. Just need some of the better brand names. Thanks!

I have 5 month old baby boy who was born at 5lbs 15.4ozs and 19.25inches. He is now 27inches and 18.5lbs. He is exclusively breast-fed and his pediatrician says he is very healthy which is fabulous. I’m struggling though to find clothes that fit him. Most brand names like Carters are too tight around his belly or I can’t get them over his adorable cloth diapers (smartipants; which I love!). Any suggestions on brands that fit heftier babies?

I’m not technically looking for a style, but places to shop for my type of style. I like usual skating/surfing/snowboarding style like zumiez a lil pac sun but usually just zumiez and online websites such as dogfunk and wiskeymilitia. my brands i like a lot are lrg hurley volcom and that’s it. I don’t have a broad knowledge of brand names. I typically wear pants a tshirt and a jacket everyday. boring. the tshirt is usually baby blue of some variety of colors with blue and black. so if anyone can help me with websites or stores that would be cool. I also really wanna have like a preppier look, not like a&F bs I’m talking about like sofisticated older college guy look? haha if that makes sense and if anyone knows what I’m talking bout heres an example. Like dress shirt, nice designer pants (not too metro) and like a vest or something. I am 6’3 and 190lbs with an oval face. so i’m a giant with lanky arms and i don’t wanna feel like a giant but a model :/ maybe

I mistakenly posted this in the wrong section earlier.
I’m not looking for specific brand names (although that’s OK, too). Rather, I’m looking for general types of toys (e.g. stacking rings, shape sorters, etc.).

I have a 4-week old daughter and for New Year’s Eve/Day we’re flying out of town and it will be her first vacation! I want to make she’s all safe, warm, and wrapped and bundled up in comfy cute newborn winter clothing…
What are some good brand names for winter clothing for a 4-week old little girl?

I have a bad knee so I will be unable to step over a baby gate like I know most parents do. I have two standard doorways in our living room that I will need gates for. Are there pressure mounted swing gates? I’m reluctant to permanently affix gates to our doorways plus you can’t take them with you when they are mounted. Pressure mounted gates seem to require you to completely take them out each time you need to pass through. I need something that swings open and is pressure mounted. I’m registered at Babies R Us and Target and have been wading through the baby gate options but haven’t ran across one yet. Any suggestions? Please provide links or brand names.
Thanks…
