Baby shopping list????
My Girlfriend Is 16 years old and I am 17 years old and We have a 3 year old and a baby that is 4 months old. About 2 months ago we found out we are going to have twins. Back when we were 13 years old we did stupid stuff. We live with my parents my 6 younger sisters and my baby sister which Is 3 months old. We have taken parenting classes. I work a full time job and a two part time jobs. I just finish high school in December. I took a test and passed it. It let me graduate earlier. I started taking online classes. She is in school but right now she has tutors coming to our house. So she can stay home.
My parents are supportive they love me my girl friend and there grandchildren. To be honest being a father has made me a better person. I am taking care of my kids and girlfriend. I have insurance for my kids and my girlfriend and I feed them.
I am nervous and I am happy about having twins. I love being a dad. I know I can afford another it. I don’t waste money.
My girlfriend loves being a mom I love being a dad. She is a good mom. My GF is excited about having twins. I am excited do. Our kids are healthy. We put our kids needs first. I am taking care of my kids they are happy and healthy. We love being parents. Yes we are young.
We did have a baby shower. Instead of people buying stuff for us we told them to give us money. Right now my parents, my 6 younger sisters, My girl friend, my 2 children and I are in a hotel. We been in a hotel for 3 months. My parents were building a house and It got delayed. Today it will be finished. It is a big house So we are

Also tomorrow My girl friend and I are going to the store and buy baby stuff, We were planning to do it today but we got busy So we are going to by extra stuff. We do not get any help for the government or my parents. It is my job to get stuff for my kids.

I’ve been getting ready for my little one to arrive at the end of June. We’ve got a ton of baby stuff, and this weekend I was washing it and putting it away. I’ve already lost a baby sock. LoL!

I was wondering if any Moms had a suggestion on how to keep from losing the little socks in the washer/dryer.

Here’s what I have so far.

Numerous onesies~~both short sleeved and long sleeved since baby will be born during an unpredictable ND April!
Sleepers (newborn through 3 months)
Comfy pants and hoodies for outings
Other clothing such as pants, jeans, bibs, hats, etc
22-25 pairs of baby socks
7 or so hooded towels
20 baby washcloths
16 receiving blankets
2 light fleece blankets
Crib, mattress and crib bedding, though only one sheet right now. How many do I need?
Bassinet for travel
Pack and play
Swing
Bouncer
High chair
Jumper
Playtex nursers (I used those with both of my kids and love those! I need to buy the liners and drop ins though).
I have one large box of newborn diapers, 2 mega packs of size 1 diapers, 4 tubs of wipes and one 5-pack of wipes refills.
I do plan to breast-feed for as long as I can and I have a nursing cover and breast pump too.

All I can think that I need to buy still is the bath-tub, baby meds, baby grooming kit with shampoo & body wash. Is there anything you can think of that I’m missing or that would come in useful even if not totally necessary? I’m drawing a blank here!

Like I said I already have 2 kids but haven’t bought any baby stuff in 7 years so I have forgotten a lot! I’m 27 weeks today with #3 and just making sure that I’m not leaving anything until the last minute!

I’ve gotten a lot of things in multipacks so I can’t really help how many I have~~plus babies go through items quickly if I remember right.
Anyway, I have no plans to use pacifiers as they really didn’t work for my other kids at all.
Cpt. M~I should really clear this up. Some of the items wear given to me, so I have no control over how many I’m given. I’m sure I won’t use all of my wash-cloths either so I might pass some of them on to others I know. The socks were bought in a lot of 22 new on ebay for an incredible deal~the same with the receiving blankets, and cost less than one pack at the stores so I couldn’t pass them up!

I need a checklist of just essentials I’m going to need for my newborn comming soon. Honestly, I’ve been lagging on buying baby stuff, mostly because I don’t want a lot of clothes laying around and wish to wait ’til the baby is born to buy specific gender clothes. This is my second baby in two years, so I have an idea of what is most needed for newborns, but I’d like some help on things I might have forgotten.

Basically it, I plan on buying clothes and toys as the baby grows because I know they don’t need much as newborns but the basics.

Is there anything else I need to buy before the baby comes? I know I need to stock up on wipes and diapers and I will, these are the things I basically have right now and will get more later.
Oh yes, I know I forgot SOCKS!! How many packs do I need to buy??
Also, I wasn’t planning on having another baby for years, so I ended up giving away most of my son’s old bouncers/walker and stuff to charity before I found out I was expecting ^.^ good thing I kept the strollar and carseat

Myself and My Husband are in the search for Gothic Baby Stuff. I Found a Skull Crib set and i loved it but i couldnt find it again… I dislike anything pink and blue.. its just so stereotypical if you know what i mean … lol… Any Websites with anything?

He bought an HDTV Plasma Panasonic TV for 00, before we bought any baby stuff for our twins that are due any day now, and now we don’t have half the stuff we need and we’re praying that family members come through for us.

By the way, he only makes an hour working full-time and I am a stay-at-home mom with our 2-year-old toddler, who is outgrowing most of her clothes. He thinks he deserved the tv because he works so hard. I think it was a stupid purchase considering our situation and the recession and no one’s job is safe, even his. Tell me, am I crazy or is he? Honest opinions please, I can handle it.
As a response to my soon to be ex husband, I bought the wii out of my student loan money, though it was supposed to be a birthday present from him, and I’m selling it on craigslist because the babies are more important, plus I never bought any clothes though I need maternity clothes. I’m wearing the same things over and over again to appointments, plus I’m at risk for premature labor and have been having contractions, but all he can do is yell at me and tell me how much he hates me, and he wants to act like the victim here???

my sister-in-law is about to have her 4th baby (2nd girl) and I wanted to get or make her a gift for the new baby…but I don’t know what to get her because she should already have all the baby stuff she needs considering its her 4th kid. Ok I have Winrar and I Want to download cribs and baby stuff with recolors like swings ect. And I want to download infant clothes like when their first born they will have clothes on and I don’t know why I have to put it in my sims 2 downloads when all my other downloads from thesims2.com is in my sims 2 double deluxe download folder soo with that said I need a good super perfect answer please ;( And don’t say read the idiot thing on mod the sims -_- ” cause I did and I understand but they don’t show on my game and I have the color thing ceo or something like that but how am I supposed to use that just download it and that’s it like come on. Any way I want to download the swing and bouner and stuff like that their is no mesh.! somebody please help.Oh Yea and when I extract here I don’t get a icon on the things that pop up when it says extract here. My husband accidentally threw the baby electronic toys into our washer with all other baby stuff: bibs, clothes, etc. After the washing I noticed that the electronic talking toys are not talking anymore – which is what I expected. But I’m wondering whether there’s any harm residue on the bib or clothes after washing them together with the electronic part. Shall I throw them away?
