I am throwing my sister a baby shower and I have no clue where to have it. She hates planning things so she left it all up to me. I was thinking since I live in the country and no one lives around us it would be nice to have it at my house. I was thinking of maybe getting a backyard party tent. ( yes i know how much they cost) . but i don’t know if i crazy about having a ton of people coming in and out of my house.
Where else could I have it?

I am 8 months pregnant and I still have not set up the nursery. Actually I still have not bought the crib or dresser..Our Church Baby shower is one month before our due date and I am wondering, Is that too late? I am waiting till after the shower to see what I still need to get for baby.

and I have about a baby shower a month. The last one was for a co-workers 16 year old daughter! While I realize she needs baby stuff too, I can’t afford to go on like this! Some are wedding showers, but most are for people I really don’t know all that well. How do I excuse myself and not feel like a cheap jerk? (The showers are held at work) Thanks

please help an anxious pregnant lady out (lol)
im 36 weeks pregnant with my firts baby, and im trying to be as prepared as possible, with out going to crazy. here is what we recieved from our baby shower. i cant imagine a newborn using more than this, but will is this enough of each. i didnt get much babyclothes, but we pretty much got everything else we need.
10 recieving blankets
1boppy (2 slip covers)
25 burp clothes
15 bibs
4 hooded towels
12 washclothes

also about how many outfits should i have for each size?
i have for 0-3 mo (i wasnt really planning on getting any newborn )
10 gowns
4 footed sleepers
5 outfits
12 pairs of socks
4 pairs mittens
8 hats
5 onsies
5 side snap t shirts
do you think i need more of anything?
i dont want to buy a bunch of 0-3 clothes if she wont use them. i dont have many clothes in the other sizes either so i know im going to be buying . clothes eventually. thanks for the advice
