I would like to dye burp cloths and onesies for a baby shower gift. I am assuming RIT dye would not be a good choice to use as they could be too harsh for a baby. Any thoughts on how to go about this?? I have never made natural dyes from plants and teas, but would be interested if anyone knows about this. Thank you.

Just curious! I was happy and appreciative for everything I got but my favorite baby shower gift was a scrapbook kit and camera that I got form my aunt so I could make a scrap book of my baby!

Ok, my first child was very unexpected not even close to being considered a plan. I found out i was pregnant and moved in with my boyfriend 3 weeks later, were together and happy now our daughter is 1 and a half now and we are expecting our son in 4 weeks! Anyways since our first was so unexpected my sister in law gave us EVERYTHING for the baby (her daughter is a year and a half older then mine) She gave us a car seat stroller combo, more clothes then you could imagine, a bouncer, swing and some other misc. stuff….anyways she is 7 weeks behind me (im 35 weeks so that makes her 28 or so) and shes is having a girl so im giving all the stuff she gave me back to her…so i dont really know what to get her for a baby shower gift, i will of course be getting tons of cute little baby girl clothes and diapers but i want to get her something that will help her out with the baby, and also i want to get her something for her. Ever since the day my daughter was born (even though my fiancée and her are not blood related) she has always just lavished my daughter with clothes every time she sees her (shes a shopoholic!!!). Anyways so im throwing her a huge suprise baby shower and i just want to get her something more then clothes diapers and little stuff, and also get her something (maybe a comfy pair of sweats and shirt from victorias secret, lotion, bubble bath?!?!)

Any suggestions, she also already has a crib, bassinet and baby monitors so if you can think of anything else please tell me

i need to get a baby shower gift for my friends. they are having a girl. i can’t spend a lot because i’m only 17. my job don’t start until fall. so i’m limited on money. what are some good but not real expensive gifts for a baby girl? if it matters this is the first baby they are having.

I have this really nice bassinet I got instead of a crib as a baby shower gift. The bassinet is big and what not. But how long can I use it as a bed for the baby instead of a crib? The crib is something that has yet to be purchased and the baby isn’t coming until January. Should my fiance and I wait to get a crib til we absolutely need it, or should we spend money we don’t really have right now to get it?

I have included, baby hooded towels, wash clothes, baby wash, lotions, moisturizer, powder, nail clipper, thermometer, brush and comb, bottles, saline drops, baby detergent, safe cooton swabs, alcohol pads (for umbilical cord cleaning), pacifiers, teether, gas drops…
Am I missing anything for baby care????
Duuhh… Bath toys!! How could I have missed that.
BTW~ It’s a baby shower gift. My girlfriend is having baby #2 after 7 years. I just had one, so I’m still fresh.
I didnt add oil, b/c my son reacted to it when I used it. As far as nasal aspirator, I think that the ones at the stores are booooo. I love the one that I got at the hospital (green ones) those are the best. I stress out when I misplace it

I have plenty of baby clothes and still need a lot of other things…I have a registry at Target and Walmart, but am afraid that people won’t see what we really need and will just go out and buy the typical baby shower gift—clothes. How do I just get them to get the items that we still need?
