We got a pair of baby shoes for our one year old who is just starting to walk but the bottom slips. Is there any product out there to add stickiness to the bottom of the shoes so they won’t slip? Slip decals or something?

I recently had my sons shoe size measured at Clarks (I don’t want to buy clarks shoes as I don’t like them). They said he is a 4 G, but this means nothing anywhere I go to get shoes for him.

I have a few questions..

1. He isn’t quite walking so I didn’t know if I should buy hard soles?

2. If I buy hard soles, will they help him with his walking?

3. I have tried size for on him in a few shops and his feet seem too wide for size 4, but not big enough for size 5. Can I get wide baby shoes?

I go in to clarks and seem to be gettin advice from a 16 year old that gave me the impression that she just didnt really seem to bothered about weather the baby is in a soft or hard shoe? Where can i go to get good information on fitting baby shoes? Surely it is important??

I remember seeing a commercial a while ago where at the end the woman tells her husband she’s pregnant by holding up a little pair of baby shoes.
