I have a 8 year old in one of those boosters without a back, a 4 year old in a 5 point harness front facing booster, and a baby on the way. I have a 2001 Kia Sportage and no we can’t afford another car. We need to fit all three seats safely in the back. I was wondering if any of the infant seats are made more slender so we can fit the three back there?

My cavalier king charles spaniel is just over three years old. I had him for the wrong reason really which was to stop me feeling so broody and wanting another baby! Anyhow I had him and he really was the best but then argh one month later I found out I was pregnant. So now I had a new puppy and a new baby on the way. My dog had a lovely nature and my daughter who was 4 adored him and he her it was great. When my little boy was born just before my dog was one year old again the dog was great. He would watch in wonder as my baby cried or fed and when I lay him on his changing mat the dog would lie beside us with his paws just off the mat observing what was going on. Just over 6 weeks later my precious son died suddenly and unexpectedly and along with everyone else my dog missed him terribly. He obviously sensed the great saddness which now filled our home.
On my lonliest and sadest of days he would sit and look lovingly at me and never onjected if I were to sob uncontrollably into his neck. Six months after this my relationship broke down and my daughter and I moved into rented accomodation and we could not take our dog with us so he went to stay with a good firend of mine who had recently had to have one of her dogs put down. He has due to unforeseen circumstances been there for 18 months and it will have been over 2 years by the time I could eventually of had him back so I have spoken with her and agreed that he shoul now stay with the for good as it would be unfair to unsettle him again. I miss him terribly and will continue to do so as he has been a wonderful dog and I love him greatly. I love you Thomas thank you for being such a great dog xxxxx
Sorry it took so long to get the additional info in I hope you all understand my reasons now why I feel it is for the best and not something I want to do. I have tried all ways to get my landlord to allow me to have him at my home I have even looked for alternative houses but there have been none which accept pets. It is going to be at least another 12 months before I can buy my own.
I apologise again if the intial part was misleading. I tried to get it typed as fast as possible so you had all the info. I only spoketo my friend today to tell her then I sat her and cried a little and just needed to tell our story. Thanks all for listening and and replying.

So back in 2009 I filed for child support (CS) and my childs father was ordered to pay 6 a month … at the time when CS was checking his employment it appeared that he had 2 jobs so they came up with 6 which I thought was a little high. In reality he had recently been fired from one job and idk about the other …. so anyway long story short the 6 was a default judgement because he never disputed the amount … they placed a levy on his account after a few months and he then HAD to go up to CS and now we are set up for court dates
My question – What is the likely outcome in court if he has no job to even pay support?? Will I have to drop it?? Will the judge order for him to pay a small amount even if its or something??
I know he has not been looking for a job and has another baby on the way
All I want is for him to help out financially a little bit … before I filed for CS I asked him for 0 which is only half of daycare! I didnt ask for clothes, food, etc … and my daughter is on my medical … I dont think I asked for much!! I even told him that we could talk about an amount he can afford and he just is not budging … so then Im like well what about 0 a month … still nothing so he’d rather 6 (whcih is already at K arrears) still be calculating than to talk to me about 0. He has no job but I do know for a fact he has income which is further upseting that I cant prove it!

I have a new crib and mattress for the baby on the way but I keep hearing about a mattress pad. What is the purpose of this and is it necessary?

My son is 17 months old. Jardine has recalled his crib and we have to take pieces off of it to send them in so that we can get a voucher to buy a new crib. Isn’t that dumb?! That means…no crib for a good month! Is he ready to just transition to a toddler bed yet? I was thinking about getting him a toddler bed and then saving the new crib for our new baby on the way. When did you switch your baby from crib to toddler bed?

Every time I have bought a baby/toddler product whether it be shampoo or a bouncer or a bib, I always share my opinions with the company. Sometimes I find a truly great product that I just couldn’t do without and I praise the company, but most of the time, I find design flaws or things that could use improvement, and I definately share my opinion then. Either way, since I already have to buy these products as I have two toddlers and a baby on the way, it would only make sense that I work testing these products and either get paid for my opinion or given the items for free in exchange for my opinion. Has anyone else done product testing for these types of items? Did you get paid for it, either in cash or goods, and how did you get involved in it?
