I am a SAHM and have been making some crocheted baby items since May. So far I have a bunch of fleece blankets with crocheted trim on them, baby hats, baby booties, and I just found a pattern and started making baby bibs. How much would you pay for these items?

Also I have made some small change purses (like 2×3 with a handle long enough to slip over my head), and some coffee cups sleeves (to replace using double paper cups or cardboard sleeves for hot cups). I have been charging each for these. Is that too much?

I am looking for free patterns to sew my own baby items- I want to make bibs, a baby sling to carry the baby in, a diaper stacker, bumper pad, and I need to make some cloth diaper covers and soakers.
If you have any links to online patterns or if you have any patterns you can email to me, I’d really appreciate it.
I only have a small sewing machine, but it should be enough to make some baby items. I have a lot of gently used receiving blankets from my son, and want to turn them into something useful for baby #2… thanks!

I delivered my son 7yrs ago and right after completing my 4th month, i started shopping bit by bit for him. Everyday i would go for a small walk and collect things like booties, mittens, changing mats etc. I collected them one by one as i went for walking everyday and loved doing that bit of shopping every day for my baby.All the other major things i purchased when i went for a big shopping with my husband. I even packed my baby’s bag when i was just 30weeks.Now i am pregnant again and i am in my 24th week and ive already collected some decent amount of things for my baby. I am just curious to know what yall did/do.I mean in which month/week did you start your shopping & what are all the things that you had already got for that little bundle of joy of yours? I am all excited and just looking at all those tiny stuffs… be it in internet pictures or in the shops. Oh they all look so lovely. And shopping for baby items excites me. How about sharing your excitement and experience?

My friend and I are having a garage sale. We are getting ride of all our baby items. Plus Infant baby girl clothes and bins and bins of Infant to 4T boy clothes. What should I put on the signs that I would like to put out on the road? "Kid Sale" sounds like we are selling kids! Does anyone have a good idea for what to write?

I know how and have seen how to make the fleece rag and tie blankets. How can I make a chenille tie blanket? Is it the same concept? Can you cut chenille in one inch strips and tie it without it fraying and etc? If so, any ideas where I can buy descent affordable chenille fabric? Thsi woudl be for making baby blankets and other baby items!

I am trying to begin a home buisness saleing hand made baby items like diaper bags, toddler bags, name banners, small baby quilts, and bib gift sets. All items would be cross stiched. Toddler bags and diaper bags would come with bottle/sippy elastics and velcro closers. They would also be personalized with a name and designs like dinosaurs, butterflies, ballarinas, farm/ tractor, princesses, sports, and Precious momments. The bibs would be grouped in two per set and framed. They would feature, storks or nursery rhymes, etc. The banners would be easy to hang and the colors would be customizable. They would also feature the designs found on the bags.

Since there are so many parents on here, I just wanted to ask. Would you be interested in something like this for your child? If so, please tell me how much you would pay per bag, bib set, name banner, and quilt.
