What I’m getting at is, there are so many cool clothes for new born baby girls. Yes some is your generic "this shirt is pink with a flower on it so it’s for girls", but there are some really cool unique designs also.

What boys have is "blue shirt with basketball slapped on the chest equal boy clothes" and thats it. But I want to get things like a cute hat with a bear design/bear cartoony ears with a nice theme to the outfit. Or basically anything that isn’t just some basic blue shirt with after thought football icon slapped on the front.

So, why are boy clothes so generic, and where do people find baby boy clothes that actually have some cool and cute style to them?

Anyone noticed the extreme difference between the options available for little girls and boys when it comes to clothing?

First of all there is Much less available on the market for little boys then girls. Seems the selection available is at least double for the baby girls in the majority of stores.
Then girls have every single color available to them, little boys pretty much have blue green and a tannish brown. Most of the "gender neutral" colors, are made in a fashion for the girls not boys…there are even "male" colors made with a "girls" theme on them.
Themes are different as well…boys are limited to trains/car, puppies, and sports…Lots and Lots of sports outfits. Girls everything seems available every animal, bug, cars and sports.
but the thing that hits me the most…is much of the young males clothing especially the toddler 1-3 year old years is fashioned as exact miniatures of adult male clothing. Where the toddler girl clothing isnt it’s still very much "baby" clothing and hardly something an adult female would wear.

So…to the parents of boys..Would you like more options available when it comes to dressing your child? Or are you happy with the selections given?

Everyone..Do you think we are training are young males to think and be a certain way from a very early age?
Seems to me we are giving are girls all the options in the world…and still maintain strict gender roles for the baby boys/young boys.

I’m actually just curious, I’ve always loved babies (especially baby girls) who are born with a head full of brown hair better than bald babies. I’m wondering if it’s possible to conceive a baby that is born with a head full of hair? I’m wondering how does it work and is there any way knowing if your baby will be born with a head full of hair vs a bald baby?

my friend and I are both having baby girls (not with each other haha), and I wanted to get her some gifts that reflect her personality and sense of humor…

Like I heard about this baby swaddling blanket that looks like a taco.. haha! I tried searching for it but I couldn’t find it and my friend would get a kick out of it.

Also, she likes the Beatles and all that hippie-style stuff like peace signs and Beatles shirts and she likes eco-friendly stuff too.

If anybody has any sites that have funny or quirky baby/toddler stuff I would really appreciate it!!

I first saw these last fall in a magazine. They’re soft, safe, high heel shoes for baby girls. I thought it would be really cute to get a pair for the next time I have my daughter’s picture taken but they’re about . I don’t even like spending that much on my own shoes, much less some that she’s going to outgrow in a couple months, but if they were available at a reasonable price I think it would make a really cute picture. Anybody seen them for under ?

I want hings at the high end of the market like baby Dior, burberry etc. obviously there is the direct online section of the brands but I want something that is directly geared to babies. Can be clothes, presents, furniture for the babies room etc.

well gee thanks for the genuine answer. Actually there is a thing called baby Dior. I can afford it and I am on yahoo answers so I thought there may be some other people in the same position. I was just asking if you knew any stores, not necessarily what baby Dior items you own. It could just be for a birth gift so please if you don’t have anything that may be useful don’t just come in here and attack me. Thanks to anyone who genuinly answers.
