My husband and I are meeting with the woman whom we think will be watching our baby girl when i go back to work. I have a list of things to ask her, but im wondering if im missing anything infant care related? Anyone have suggestions???

(The basics: She is a mother of two, and she actually used to babysit my husband when he was a baby as well, clean home, trust worthy person, etc.)

Hi,
So I am 20 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and due in Nov. I intend to ask my doctor for advice and stuff too but I was wondering if anyone else is having or had their first child and really has little to no experience caring for infants!! I love kids. and am so excited for our baby girl to arrive! But would like to take a one day class or something on general stuff. Like what NOT to do, feeding, bathing, diaper changing…basic stuff, just to make sure i am not doing something wrong…
Has anyone else attending a class like this or felt a little uneasy about caring adequately for their first?

My baby girl is almost 10 months old and for the past month she won’t eat her jarred baby food. I try to make her eat just a little bit, but she won’t sit still long enough for me to feed her and acts uninterested in it even though I KNOW she is hungry. I try to give her different kinds, so I know that she’s not bored with the flavours. So all she eats now is those rice rusk things and her formula. I afraid that she’s not get all the nutrients she needs. She ate her jarred food just fine and loved it since she was about 4 months old. How can I get her interested in her food again?

My baby girl is curious about everything and she will look and watch lots but she wont play or grab at rattes and toys yet. She is 14 weeks old today is it just that she’s still too young? When did your baby start to get interested in toys?

Ok, I had my 7lb 8oz , 20 inch long baby girl. She is exactly what statistics say the average baby weighs in the US, yet baby gap, gymboree, kohls, and even Potterybarn kids baby wear swamp her in the newborn size. I am so disappointed. A beautiful new baby and nothing to dress her up in. Do I now have to go out and buy preemie size clothes? Is there some size I missed that is smaller than newborn?

I just started knitting on Sunday night and for the past few days I have been practicing how to cast on, regular knitting, purl knitting and binding off. I’m 26 weeks pregnant and I want to make a baby blanket for my baby girl. Right now I have 10" needles and two 7oz worsted medium yarn, I also have two little balls of yarn to practice with. Want to find a website or somebody to tell me how to make a very easy blanket.

So Im having a baby girl.
The nursery already has beautiful floral wallpaper, the colors match this set. Its a 6 pc. Bedding set with everything shown in the picture. I bought it for .
What is your opinion on it?
This is my baby so I wasn’t exactly sure on what to get.

Does anybody have any good stores or sites that i can get cute but not pink baby girl clothes?

I dont mind pink but i dont want everythinggggg to be pink, and knowing my family and friends, everything i get for my babyshower will be pink.

I dont mind pink as long as theres another color to offset it. like i bought a dress the other day that had a pink top but the bottom was brown with flowers…
