Ok, I had my 7lb 8oz , 20 inch long baby girl. She is exactly what statistics say the average baby weighs in the US, yet baby gap, gymboree, kohls, and even Potterybarn kids baby wear swamp her in the newborn size. I am so disappointed. A beautiful new baby and nothing to dress her up in. Do I now have to go out and buy preemie size clothes? Is there some size I missed that is smaller than newborn?

My best friend is having a baby soon, she is having a girl. I want to get her a fantastic present for her. Something that I know she wont buy for herself. Here are a few things I thought of but am open to any suggestions.

I love love love Janie and Jack and babyGap. Also I find a lot of great deals at Old Navy. I started going there while I was prego with my daughter last year; since I didnt want to spend a small fortune on maternity clothes. And I find great stuff there for her, like Jeans and dresses. But I must say Janie and Jack is by FAR my fav. clothing store for her. Baby Gap close second. Also what style do you like to dress your baby in? Are you into the really baby baby type frilly fro fro stuff for the girls? And all the fire truck and dinasour outfits for boys? Or do you like the ones that look more like real adult clothes just shrunk down? I am deffinalty into the later. Yes, Kamryn has some frilly dresses and girly girl outfits. But I love when she is in Jeans and a really cute modern tank top/t-shirt. I cant wait for fall for her to fit into her hard bottom Boo Uggs!! And her wide leg jeans!!! What about you?
Yeah when she was younger like under 6 months, I think most of her clothes was carters. I liked her to be in loose outfits and onsies with the little sweat pants and they are great for that. Since she was so small and snuggly I didnt want her in restrictive jeans or tank tops ect. But now that she moves all over and can get around no prob. I love the "big girl" clothes from Gap and some Old Navy. ANd when I want something cutsie I go to Janie and Jack
Ahh I LOVE pierced ears on babies, we did Kamryns at 2 1/2 months! SHe also has LOADS of hair, I think its like 8" long now, so she always has pony tails and pig tails. Its almost long enough to braid!!! And Binikis are my FAV!!! We live on the beach literally, so we are there from sunrise to sunset. I cant imagine her without her tenie binkini!!! I even got her an "itsy bitsy teeny weenie yellow polka dot" one; from old navy!!!

My Niece, who is 3, has nicer clothes than i do! Her mother spoils her to death, and its crazy!Do you think its right to get your kids things from Anthropology Kids, J Crew cuts, Armani, Gucci, 7 jeans, and all the other designer things? What ever happened to Target and baby gap? I don’t know what you all think, but i think its ridiculous!

I don’t get it. I’ve got 2 kids and they’ve never worn baby Gap clothes. I have a gift certificate and looked around…. I don’t think the clothes are that much cuter than anywhere else… and a lot more expensive. So what’s the fuss???
See thats what I DON’T get…. they’re not so expensive that I’m impressed when a kid’s wearing it. They’re just not cute. It’s not like a coach purse… and even now, with the popularity i’m not impressed by that!

i loveeeeee to shop, I have shopped at every store in my area and I swear she ahs every thing in all the stores that I can possibly get and like. I love Gymboree and the Childrens place, Oshkoshbgosh, baby Gap and Carters. But i have run out of places to shop. I also shop and boutiques but they don’t have much other than dresses and plush stuff… Please tell me some other places i can shop at. Im an addicted shopper, I do it every single day and spend over 300 dollars a day and i need to feed my habit. lol My daughet is 13 months old and she loveeess to shop too, she owns 38 pairs of shoes and no doubt has more clothes than any kid. she has over 800 pieces in her fall/winter wardrobe.(not including hats, belts, glasses, gloves, scarfs, etc… I gave away her summer wardrobe witch included about 1500 pieces! I sell them on craigslist as well so if your in my area take a look!
My daughter also wears Burberry, Guess, Roxy, Baby Nay, Lacoste, Frilli Lilli, Haute Baby,and my fav Corky & Company… Im a big spender and will only buy the best!!!
JUST ME….

My daughter isn’t old enough for Lacoste yet, I go to the site all the time cause i buy my nieces clothes there and so does my sister! I cant wait till my lil one is old enough so i can buy her things from Lacoste. The sizes don’t even start till 4 years old so your lieing about your 2 year old wearing Lacoste. and by the way, Guess is cheap and so is polo…

First of all, I would sell my things on craigslist, it gives someone else who cant afford those type of clothing’s to have a chance to dress their child nicely! I Why would I keep the clothes that don’t fit my daughter? dumb ass! and im a very experienced shopper, but just cause i asked for some name brands doesn’t mean i don’t know how to shop, just means some areas have different things and i may have never heard of… don’t be jealous cause you cant put your kids in burberry etc… So you Keep shopping at wal-mart, and have a nice day

Does anyone know a baby clothing site that has cool baby clothes like the type of stuff worn in abercrombie and hollister. Im not into my son wearing all that ugly stuff with sports and cars all over it,I wanna be different. Im wanting to find some cute little ripped jeans for my baby. Its so hard to find cute boy clothes! Everytime i go in a store its filled with sections of baby girl clothes and only one small section for boys. Thats not fair. Someone needs to come up with a cool baby boy line. I need some sites other than ebay, gymboree, baby gap, the childrens place. Ive already looked on these.
my son will be here in july, i want him to look cool. im gonna have lots of cute onesies and sleepers but i want him to look like a little man too
