When soaking stained baby clothing is cold water better to use than hot water? Doesn’t hot water help stains "set in"?
I — pregnant for the first time — have a few nice articles of baby clothing, and am a bit surprised to notice that even the very nice stuff has large, itchy-looking tags.
Given how irritable _I_ get over an itchy tag, those are getting snipped right out.
But. How useful is it to know the size of baby clothes? Will it be worth my time to do what I was thinking of, viz: using some coloured thread to stitch in a little code so I know the size? Or can you eventually pretty much gauge the size by just looking?
A bit of an odd question, yes. But, Yahoo! Answers is so useful for those odd questions…
since my niece is still a child herself, she’s 14 and I am her legal gardian i’ve taken it upon myself to make sure she has everything she needs for the baby. (i’ve made her take responsibility too, but there are many things she hasn’t even thought about, like breastfeeding, and diapers… I now scary about the be a mom and doesn’t "have time" to think about all that)
So I did an inventory of everything she has for the baby tell me if we forgot something:
Crib with 7 sets of sheets, bumber, and secure sleeper
20 cases of "7th generation baby" biodegradable diapers (in newborn and stage 1 sizes)
diaper genie
manual breast pump
2 diaper bags
13 glass pre-boiled bottles with nipples
2 cases of Vermont Organics DHA Soy Based Organic Infant Formula (6 cans in each case, if she decides not to breastfed)
1 to go pack of Huggies baby wipes with aloe
2 large boxes of generic baby wipes
6 baby wipe refills
5 carsets, 1 unbrella stroller, 1 big stroller, and 1 portable crib (car seats for my car, dad’s car, my wife’s car, my mom’s car, and 1 extra)
a mountain of baby clothing including socks and pajamas
1 baby bean bag sleeper thing (don’t know how to describe it)
a toy box 1/2 full of baby toys
emergancy baby kit with bandaids, butt-thermometer, ear-thermometer, and binkie thermometer, oh and some baby tylonal and other stuff too.
A baby bathtub
baby soaps and rags,
cloth diapers
and
squeeky socks
When my daughter is born her father and grandfather will be over saes and i want to have a special shirt made for her, so my question is, is there a website where i can design baby clothing?
Thanx
Looking for baby clothing stores, not online ones. That are around brisbane, chermside, indooroopilly etc, or any that you know of!
Aside from Babies galore, Pumpkin Patch, Cotton on Kids,
I need to buy some baby clothes for a baby shower ![]()
thanks
I know I am not going to find top top quality at a discount store but for example walmart has such a bad selection of baby clothing (IMO) so does anyone have any stores they go to that are cheaper but also nice?
My eldest brother and his wife are expecting their first child in June/July-we just found out it was a boy so I really want to start buying clothes and supplies for him. However in store clothing is rather bland/boring…so I was wondering if anyone knew of online shops that offered a more unique option to baby clothing, that is not ridiculously overpriced(I saw a jumper that was 50-60$ and for a baby who is going to stain and outgrow that clothing quickly, I believe it just to overpriced)
Any suggestions to natural/organic baby supplies will be very appreciated too.
-I hope this is in the correct section, if not I apologize-
Have an idea for baby clothing and hair accessories where would i buy thing like jeans and onesies and hair accessories like brushes and combs to put my on design on it?
My son is over a year old and I have bins upon bins of his clothing ranging in sizes preemie to 12 months. I was going to go through and donate the majority of it but by the time I went through all those bins I only had a small pile of donate (about 10 outfits total) for some reason I couldn’t part with anything else.
Am I a wacko or do other moms (and dads) get attached to their child’s baby clothing??
I’m trying to tell myself that since he will never wear those again the sane thing is to donate them!
I really don’t know very much about baby clothing other than the fact that it’s sized based on the baby’s age. What does it go from? Like premie through toddler sizes where it goes like 2T, 4T?? what does the T mean? lol. I don’t have kids so I’m confused! If you could help me out and let me know of other facts I should include that would be great!!! Thanks!
