In ig to put a picture on a baby blanket at Walmart.com he wrong pictuere was selecte. How do I delete it?
I discovered a few years ago how to weave nice pouches out of a loom and yarn, and thought that maybe I could make a nice blanket out of a larger loom for a soon due baby of a friend of mine. The loom is just a simple piece of wood with exactly 16 rectangular notches cut out of the top and bottom… sort of like this: n__n__n__n__n__n__n__n (Use your imagination)
You weave by taping a piece of string to the board and place it in one notch and and then in the notch below and once over. I’ve figured out how I can create another loom to make a blanket, but I was wondering If anyone had heard of this weaving before, or has knowledge of what type of yarn and of what quantity I should use. I heard of Bernat yarn of the "Super Bulky" consistency, but I am unsure…I’ve never really bought baby blanket yarn before.

I want to get a baby blanket monogrammed for a friends baby shower… I was wondering how much I can expect to pay to get that done. Pricing can be for either all 3 initials or first and middle name. I just don’t want to waste a store owners time asking them how much to do it just to find out its more than I am willing to spend.
Well I would have already called/gone in except I don’t get reception in my home, and it is over 100 degrees outside where I live…I am also 7 months pregnant and have a 2yr old…so just jumping in my car and going isn’t really a pleasant idea….I know the prices will vary, I just thought someone might have an estimate of how much I would end up spending. Please only answer if you have an idea how much it might cost.
I still have my old yellow baby blanket I got when I was about 3 months old put away for safe keeping. It was always special to me as a child. I also have one of my old baby rattles somewhere, as well as an old infant hat.

I am looking for a nice "high-end" baby blanket as a gift, and not having any children myself, I have no idea where to start! I am going to embroider the baby’s name on it. I want something that the mom will open and know that it’s not just some cheapo blanket.. It’s for a newborn boy, and I’d like to stay around or under ish?
The baby is already born, so the name is staying, and the shower is over!! So I’m not looking to wow anyone or anything, just want the mom to know that I put thought into the gift. Actually wasn’t invited to the shower so I have no idea where she was registered either (and can’t find her registry on any sites I know of). Was thinking it would be something nice to hang on the back of a chair, crib, something like that. Don’t know what she has/doesn’t have so gift has to be as generic as possible!
