My son has really sensitive skin and gets nappy rash from baby wipes, we tried unscented ones and they didnt help either. For a while we used warm water and toilet paper but my babies doctor said not to use it as it is too rough for his skin, however it helped his nappy rash. We have cream to put on but it hasnt helped either. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and found anything good to use

I’m due in August with my little Lily Jacklyn! I’m starting to do some shopping and I’m going to be registering for my baby showers and things soon and I’m wondering…should I really worry about buying or registering for Newborn sized clothes or should I just go ahead and get 0-3 mos.? The doctor says she’s measuring big already and all the babies in our family have between 8 and 10lbs at birth. This is my first baby but I know with my nieces and nephews they never really seemed to wear the newborn clothes and I just don’t want to spend money on something that she’s not going to wear. So any advice will be appreciated! Thanks!!!

I can’t seem to find it anywhere. I am due in Feb. and I love the whole rainforest collection. I love the bright colors of all of it, but I can’t find the matching bedding, but I know they have it. Any help would be great!!! Thanks
I just checked Babies R Us, as I have before…and they do not have the set.
I didn’t ask for advice from anyone, on what I should buy. I asked for helping finding what I want. I hate people that just lurk around this site, to give their two cents where they aren’t needed. Just because you are a mom, you are not an expert. If I want to get a certain bedding set, then let me.. and if you want to give your advice to someone then give it to someone who actually asks.
Walmart has everything,but the bedding…
I emailed the Fisher Price company, and they gave me a list of places that it might be (like walmart, babiesrus and such), but I have checked and rechecked all of them….there are none!!!! … On Ebay you end up spending like 200….then shipping…and I would rather not spend all of that money on a 4 piece…when I can get something that wont match everything else for cheaper…hmmm

I have had to stop breast feeding my 6 week old baby and have put her on formula. I have read that babies on formula have one dirty nappy a day but my little girl has a dirty nappy every feed, which is watery with bits of formula in it. Does anyone know if this is normal, she’s only been on formula a day.

I was just curious about when other mothers started taking their babies out in public. My daughter is three weeks and one day and I am going to take her out tomorrow to Wal-Mart for the first time.
And will putting a thin blanket over the car seat or stroller help?
I see lots of mothers doing this and was just wondering if it helps at all?

My pediatrician told me to start feeding rice cereal now that she’s 4 months old. She has really good support of her head and neck. My aunt said it’s too early and that she’s never heard of any mom starting their babies with solids at 4 months. What was your experience? How was your baby reacting the first time you tried giving them their first rice cereal? Thanks!

I have a Micky Mouse Platy. She started having her babies before I got her in a nursey. I only found 6 in the tank, but she hasn’t had any more babies in the last hour or so. Is 6 babies all she is going to have? She still looks big to me.

I have heard about people who have had their babies sleep through the night as young as a month old. But is it healthy to let them go that long without eating? I thought babies at that age were still supposed to be eating at least every 4 hours. Are they still getting all the nutrition they need when they sleep through the night? I know that some say babies will wake up when they are hungry, but my doctors have all told me that if my son doesn’t wake up to eat, then I should wake him up to feed him. So what’s the deal?

I’ve heard friends say their baby started walking and the babies are all doing differently, either they are cruising, Takes steps with assistance (toy or person), Takes a step or steps without any assistance, or Can take many steps to get from one place to another.

So, which one is it? When do you consider a baby to be walking?
