She has a mild diaper rash. I put her in a cloth diaper (as those are softer & better than the disposables) in hopes to help clear up the rash.

Should I wake her to change her diaper in the middle of the night?
Thanks everyone! She has a cream on & is sound asleep right now. I’ll just change her first thing in the morning.

(sorry if its gross) It is very painful for him because when I go to change his diaper he says "no" and starts crying & tightening up his legs. I have tried balmex, baby powder, letting him run around naked, soaking him in the tub, but it still does not go away. What else could I use to make it go away or make it less painful? First, we can’t even get them to stay in the room. Second, we can’t get them to go to sleep. They play and play with each other for hours. They have been waking up with dark circles under their eyes, as they don’t sleep in later the next morning as you would think they might.

I don’t know what else to do. We have put up baby gates to keep them in, but they still climb out. Our two year old is now temporarily sleeping in the walk-in closet (with the door open) in our master bedroom with us, but clearly this is not a permanent solution. Advice is greatly appreciated :0)
