I want to get a baby blanket monogrammed for a friends baby shower… I was wondering how much I can expect to pay to get that done. Pricing can be for either all 3 initials or first and middle name. I just don’t want to waste a store owners time asking them how much to do it just to find out its more than I am willing to spend.
Well I would have already called/gone in except I don’t get reception in my home, and it is over 100 degrees outside where I live…I am also 7 months pregnant and have a 2yr old…so just jumping in my car and going isn’t really a pleasant idea….I know the prices will vary, I just thought someone might have an estimate of how much I would end up spending. Please only answer if you have an idea how much it might cost.

My friend’s sister had a baby at 7 months a week ago and the baby is at the hospital right now. This made me think. What happens when a baby is born at 7 months? Does something happen to it? Will it develop like other babies? I’m NOT planning on one I’m just curious.

My husband and I were smokers when we started dating. He smoked about 3 packs/day, and I was up to 1 1/2. Then, I found out I was pregnant and I tried to stop (got down to 1 cigarette per week and for whatever reason couldn’t do better). He cut down a little, but could not quit. He said he was going to, but it would take time. It’s been 7 months and he has actually increased. I have been nagging him about cutting down more because seeing him smoke is making me want to smoke and I keep blowing my goal once a week. I told him it needs to be a joint effort and that he needs to quit before the baby is born because even the chems. on clothing can cause problems with an infant, and that I really need his support in my efforts to be smoke-free (completely). We fight about it constantly because he just keeps smoking. He says I’m just nagging him and I should mind my own business in the situation. Problem is that his business affects mine. Should I shut up about it or am I right to nag?
Before anyone else feels the need to jump down my throat, I have quit smoking…BUT his smoking has been making that very very difficult. That’s what I was trying to say.

hi there, my first question is that, I knwo it wont be for a bit yet, but my son is 7 months old, and im going to be re-doing his room in an army theme while my husband is deployed. and i was wondering how much longer he is going to need his crib? if I should just keep it or get one of those transitional cribs(if i can wait id like too) and then also I need tips for decorating his room. Im having trouble finding anything to get started. all ideas are welcome. thanks so much

Hubby and i are planning to go overseas by end of this year or starting of next year my daughter is 7 months now and iam pregnant with #2 and baby is due end of november or starting of December. My daughter will be a toddler by then iam just wondering if any of you have travelled long hours by plane going overseas with young kids?

My daughter is 7 months old. Is it too early to start her on some finger foods, she has no teeth. When did you start your baby on finger foods and what exactly did you feed your baby. I am afraid that some foods will choke her.

My daughter’s ALMOST crawling, she scoots VERY slowly and I think she’ll be mobile within the next 2 – 3 weeks for sure (she’s 7 months by the way). ANyway, I’m wondering what I need to do to baby-proof my house? I always hear that term, but this is my first kiddo, so I don’t know. ALso, we have a set of carpetted stairs leading to the second floor of our home, do I need to get a gate? Is it necessary yet (I’d rather not if I don’t need it)? I’d appreciate any imput!
