2t-4t
For girls 2t-4t, my daughter is almost 3 years old and I think they would look cute on her.
I am looking to sell quite alot of used clothes on Ebay and not sure if it’s best to list as lots or individual. I have brand name toddler clothes which range in size from 12m-4T and in good condition. I also have alot of brand name clothes of mine in excellent condition and mostly Hollister, American Eagle and Aeropostale. Any suggestions would be great!
Is it after 4t and then goes to 1?
I have seen some items that say 4 but there is no T and it is in the girls department. Would that be toddler 4?
I really don’t know very much about baby clothing other than the fact that it’s sized based on the baby’s age. What does it go from? Like premie through toddler sizes where it goes like 2T, 4T?? what does the T mean? lol. I don’t have kids so I’m confused! If you could help me out and let me know of other facts I should include that would be great!!! Thanks!
Since birth my daughter has gained and grew very quickly. She is now 21 months, about 6 inches taller than she should be and weighs about 50 pounds. She is also very muscular, strong, and smart. I am so worried about her…. and doctors can’t provide answers. She is getting so big now her feet hurt when she walks (they are big feet). She is also very hyper for a toddler and moves constantly, even kicking during her sleep at night. And her built (bones) is very thick as well.
Her diet now consists mostly of fruits, veggies, tofu, and alternative dairy products (she has a intolerance to daily). She is outside for 2 hours in the a.m, 2 hours in the p.m, and 1 hour after dinner. She is very active. Can anyone give me some advice on this? I am desperate. My husband and I have 2 other children, both 12, neither had an issue like this.
We saw a nutritionalist who said it was not her diet and that she actually eats less than she should in a day. We had a thyroid test and it showed her thyroid was slightly elevated (4.9). Doctors are confused as to why she is so big. They now are thinking its metabolism or a genetic disorder. I am moving just to get my child to a better doctor.
Here is examples of her growth.
~ at birth 8lb 2 oz
~ at 2 months old she was wearing a size 6 months
~ at 4 months old she wore a size 9 months and looked 8 months.
~ at 6 months she was 22 lbs and wore a 12 months clothing
~ at 11 months she was 30 lbs and wore a 2T
~ NOW, she is 21 mo and wears whatever fits her. ranging from 4T and up.
My daughter is 27 months old and is in the 100th percentile for weight and height….sometimes off the charts at times. Shes tall for her age and she weighs 43 pounds and the doctor isn’t concerned at all with her being overweight due to her height. She’s not fat at all, but he thighs are a little chunky at top lol and i’m having a really hard time finding toddler clothing that fits. She’s in 4T jeans now and they are just right in length with just a little room to grow a bit taller, but I don’t have to roll or cuff them at all, however, they are starting to get a bit tight in the waist. I just went to target and bought her some 5t Capri’s/shorts and they are tight so i’m at a loss as to what to do. I’ve considered buying child size 4/5 clothing, but they are going to be entirely too long and then if i hem them i’m afraid that she’ll hit a growth spurt and they will be too short of fast. I buy her 4t shirts and they are even beginning to become a little short in waist length so i’m going to move up a size in those too for spring and i’m not really concerned about tops, just bottoms. Anyone else have this problem?? Any suggestions?
I buy the adjustable waist, but never need to use it because even in a 5t…they are too tight and she’s only 2. A five girls child size jeans fits fine without adjusting them at all or needing a belt lol, but you could fit another child in them length wise lol.
How do you shop for clothes? I have a 3 1/2 year old. I have a hard time finding clothes (especially jeans) that fit her. I also don’t really shop name brand- i don’t have time to go out of town to shop there and *hope* there is a sale! lol So I have walmart, which is fine!
Anyways, i went shopping today and compared clothes, and i found the 4T is about the same as the XS (4-5)’s in the childrens section, only the 4T’s are a bit shorter- and she’s a tall skinny girl! so I decided on the XS’s and got her all kinds of stuff! lol (big sales) Found lots of cute jeans and tops. So I got it all home and had her try it on… everything is pretty long, and still a bit big on her
But I figured with a couple of pintucks in the back of the jeans, and cuffing the bottom up a bit, they look really cute!
I also figure the shirts will shrink a bit. her 3T’s seem tiny compared to her new ones, but i also know she’s almost in 4t’s anyways.
So, my question is, would it make sense to keep these clothes and add pintucks and all that.. then have her grow into them, or should I take them back and get her stuff that fits her now, not knowing if she’s going to grow much this fall and winter? What would you do?
Thanks!
ok, I just realised all the jeans have the adjustable waist! lol I’m glad I looked!
My son is 3 and wears a 4T. I was looking online for him some winter clothes and some stores offerred a size 4 and a 4T…what is the difference?
I’m looking for a white t-shirt with red stripes similar to Max’s from Max and Ruby in a boys 3T or 4T. Here’s a link to a picture of Max if you aren’t familiar with the cartoon: http://www.noggin.com/games/img/pho110x110mr_toybowling.gif
I’d like to put together a Halloween costume for my son. Unfortunately I don’t sew, so I’m hoping to find a ready made shirt that is similar. I’ve tried the websites I could think of (Wal-Mart, Target, Children’s Place, Sears, K-Mart, Gap, Old Navy, Craigslist) that sell toddler’s clothes — what suggestions do you have?
My girls will be 2 and 3 next month. Up until a few months before Christmas, my oldest wore a 2T and my youngest wore size 18 months. Now with summer approaching, I decided to get them each a pair of new shorts to see what sizes they would need. My youngest can’t wear anything bigger than size 12 months in shorts because she is so petite. I thought that was funny because she is so tall that size 2T pants are getting short on her. My oldest got a pair of shorts sized 4T and they were tight around her belly. I’m having a difficult time finding clothes for them. I already had to hem my oldest’ pants over winter because she is short and chubby. My youngest has to wear belts with pants and those are hard to find for her. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do? Also, does anyone else wish they made kids clothes like they do for adults? I’m talking about the tall/short/petite/plus, etc. sizes,
