My son was a preemie (3 lbs 15.9 oz) and is quickly catching up. He was 13 lbs 1 oz at his 4 month appointment (4 months 1 week old). Right now he wears 3-6 month size pants and 6-9 or 9-12 month onesies (we think he’s going to be tall unlike me or his dad – we are both average height).

My daughter in law just gave birth to twin boys. Each is only a bit over 3 lbs. Baby clothing is really expensive. I checked out preemie clothing on the Internet and some little outfits sell for .50 plus!
Are they easy to sew? I used to sew but couldn’t find preemie patterns on the Internet either.

Does anybody have suggestions on how to buy/make inexpensive preemie clothing?

And should I use Huggies, Pampers, or some other brand? Which works the best?

I’m just wondering. I don’t even have a dog yet. (And I haven’t found one, either)
Elena (and everyone else): This was purely a speculation question. I do not have a dog and will not be getting one soon. I was merely wondering, as I’ve heard of people doing this before.
And also, I KNOW there’s no such thing as a "teacup". I KNOW that they are just dwarf dogs. I just feel that that’s a perfect description of the size dog I like (about 2-3 lbs., which, YES, I KNOW, is UNDER the breed standard for Yorkies).

Please stop stating the obvious. I don’t need anyone else ruining my day. Why is everyone the same? I haven’t met ANYONE who was decent in the past 2 years… don’t add yourself to my list.

Cricketnutoz: I posted it because I was bored. And (not talking about you in this) I didn’t expect to have people jumping down my throat (so to speak) over such a silly thing. Why would THEY care if I put a diaper on my dog if I had one? It’s not like it’s cruel. It doesn’t hurt the animal, and they don’t care if they’re wearing it.
