He seems to be smaller than most 7,8,9,10 months old babies that often see when we are out and about. He looks about 6 months old but he is 10 months. Even his face looks very baby like as in his features look like the face of a 3 month old baby. He is super healthy haven’t been sick or anything. He is being fed Similac Alimentum most of his life as he is allergic to soy ( gets horrible hives) and lactose intolerant. He also eats baby food 3 times a day but he dislikes the baby food with texture and is unable to eat baby puffs or anything with texture because he chokes. So we feed him stage #2 Sprout organic baby food.
I’m wondering if he’s not getting the needed nutrients for growing. He just looks so tiny in comparison to other babies his age.

My son is 10 months old (6 months adjusted for prematurity) and yesterday I bought him a size 2 pair of shoes. He has been wearing size 1s for a long time, and they don’t seem to small, but they look so funny, because the rest of him is so big. But then, the size 2s look odd as well, because they seem so big. So anyway, I guess my point is, is this normal, for a baby this age to have such a small foot? He is now 17 pounds and 26 inches, so he is a big boy, but his little feet seems so small…
Oh yeah, and I don’t need lectures on how "babies shouldn’t wear shoes" and all that junk, you do with your kids what you want, and I’ll do the same.
Thanks all!

If baby socks can lead to scarring, what should I use? My son is 10 months. He doesn’t sleep with them, but for outside he has them with slippers (it is below 20 out) and inside he has socks on during the day. What do you guys do?

here is where I read it, the best answer
There is nothing wrong with the socks my son uses, but I am saying if socks scar, what do we use then?
I don’t have any problem with socks or being too tight. My son’s socks are all fine, but I just had read this that is all.

My daughter is almost 10 months old and she has a diaper rash and when I put Desitin on her, she immediately screams in pain until I wipe it off! Is there anything else I can do for her to help the diaper rash go away? Does anyone know of any reason why the Desitin could be hurting her? Thank you so much!

My son lost interest in his at around 10 months and we just stopped using it. My daughter is now a year old and uses her pacifier all the time. I am trying to limit it to naps and bedtime. But she is teething so I usually give in. Just curious to what age you started limiting your child’s pacifier use or stopped it? Any tips?

My daughter is 10 months old and she’s had this really red diaper rash that has lasted for almost a month now. I have tried oat baths, special cremes (Aveeno, Panaten, etc…) and I even let her bum air out but nothing seems to be working. After giving her baths it may seem to go away but then it comes back really red. What can I do to get rid of this stubborn rash?
