My toddler keeps ruining shirts by chewing/sucking on the neck part?

What do you do when your toddler constantly bites their clothing? She probably just does it out of boredom (a lot of tie time it’s in the car) but she’s wrecking her clothes! lol

My friend’s daughter used to do this ALL the time. Drove my friend crazy, so she mixed up some salt and pepper in water and put it on the collar (and, sleeve ends) of her daughter’s shirts. She only did it with shirts that were dark colors, but as soon as her daughter put it in her mouth, out it came! Not sure if you want to try this, but my friend only did it for about a week before he daughter stopped completely. Good luck!
they’re just clothes lady relax. maybe it’s a nervous tick. autisum maybe?
Many children do this. You can try to break the habit when you see her doing it tell her to stop. Or if you are mostly just worried about the clothes you can get her a new baby wash rag to chew on. It’s probably partly from teething. If you give her something else to chew on it may make it harder to break the habit later, but if it is just from teething she may stop on her own.
maybe you should just put a bib on her so she chews on that.. sounds like one of those random toddler habits that will only last a few weeks
if she is 2 or under she might be getting her molars in. My nephew did this until age 7 then after that we would tell him to stop every time we seen him doing it and eventually he stopped.
I did that too as a kid, the shirt tastes like salt and water color crayons =D.
She’s Probably Teething. Don’t Worry. Many Toddlers Do This. Even I Used To. Now, I Do It To My Hair…
