I am 20 weeks pregnant, when should I start buying baby items.?

I just turn 20 weeks today, so I am half way there. When should I start buying baby items. When did u start. I some start really early and others wait til after their baby shower. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

i started buying thing when i was like 9 or 10 weeks.cant remember fully.but put it this way do you really want to walk around 7 or 8 months pregnant buying stuff then especially since you are going to still be pregnant in the heat just like me.i would say start now.that way you will have less running around to do when the baby bump is really huge,have fun shopping and don’t forget not to buy a million 0 to 3 months clothing because they out grow things fast.

I am pregnant also Just a little past you and we have brought a fair bit of stuff already for our baby, just buy baby stuff when you feel the need to.
We have lots of singlets, just brought a bassinet and have lots of bibs, some clothing, most people are saying a baby will be spoilt, but its our first bub so no wonder it will be.
So I’d say just when ever you feel like it and have the money to.
lol i started when i found out i was pregnant so i would say when i was 3 months now im 22 and i even have the crib built and the bedding set so i would recommend you to start now so you wont feel all the money you will spend too because babies need so many things

I started around 30 weeks and I’m almost 38 weeks now and will be going and finishing the shopping this weekend. I’m a wait until the last minute type person. lol.
I waited until 20 weeks, when I found out what I was having. Once I knew that I was having a boy, I started small, just getting an outfit here or there. I have several showers coming up, and after they are done, I am going to get everything else we need.
anytime you want tooo. if you feel your gonna have a large baby shower than buy just the bigger stuff but either way you can shop now or later. Its fun to baby shop.

You can start anytime. It’s best to be prepared early instead of too late! I started buying these few things first..
