How old before they are considered a toddler?

How many months before a baby is considered a toddler? Its kind of confusing.

Usually it’s:
Newborn: birth to 1-2 months.
Infant: 1 month to one year.
Toddler: 12-24 months
Preschooler: 2 years+

I think 18 months. They are walking, talking somewhat, feeding themselves and so on. What I characterize a baby is someone who is dependant on you completely (feeding, dressing, bathing etc etc) An 18 month old isn’t as dependant on you.
I think at 2yrs old they are considered a toddler, I mean they walk, talk (a little), eat normally, sleep, play…then when they are like 5yrs old they are a child/kid…haha
I believe around age 2 children are considered toddlers. I’ve considered my daughter a toddler since 17 months or so when she started really climbing things.
They are considered a toddler once they turn 1 year of age.
At my son’s daycare they have a "baby side" and a "toddler side," and they explained to me that what differentiates a child from "baby" or "toddler" is walking. As soon as they are able to walk efficiently without falling too much, they put them in the toddler side. This only pertains to the daycare but maybe that helps a little?
Toddlers "toddle".
Around 12 months, when baby starts walking. When the walk, they "toddle", hence the title toddler.
I considered a toddler when they started walking regardless of age. My first started walking around 10 months so that’s when she became a toddler in my mind. My son is almost 18 and still not walking so he’s still a baby.
