How often to infants need baths?
Every day? A few times a week? Do you bathe them with water sometimes and then wipe them with baby wipes the rest of the time?

Every couple days. Their skin is too sensitive to bathe them every day.
Everyday.
Every day because they get into stuff that you dont even know about and you bathe them everyday before bedtime and then if the next day they get dirty you just wipe them with wipes and then at the end of the day you give them a bath
your really need to give your baby a bath every 2-3 days. Their skin is so sensitive so it would dry out!
I have a 5 month old and we bath him every OTHER day, we don’t use lots of products on him, just a little gentle top to toe wash and moisturiser after.
In between we use a little warm water with cotton wool or on a sponge, wipes contain alcohol and can dry up/irritate their delicate skin so we try to avoid these whenever possible!
Hope this helps.
They general rule is once a day, any less would be a bad idea due to babies sweating, spitting up and puking alot. Anymore than once a day could cause the babies skin to dry out.
So, the answer is once a day.
as a newborn, every other day.
once they start crawling and getting really dirty, every day.
i just put my little girl in the tub with me every night.
everyday or every other day
wipes are good to use on the days the baby doesn’t bathe
When my son was a newborn (and not mobile) I bathed him every other day (so his skin wouldn’t dry out.)
As he got to be a little older (and mobile) I started bathing him everyday because he was crawling around on the floor and getting dirty.
He’s 13 months old now and I still bathe him everyday.
Every other day is fine for a young infant. You dont want to dry their skin. I’d wipe their face and hands with a warm cloth throughout the day. You should bathe them everyday when they start crawling or eating baby food because they are dirty/messier.
once a day at the most. Wipes or a wet wash cloth can be used other times but to many baths dry out the skin.
Everyday! I guess.
I bathed my babies everyday, and any other time they got really messy.
Not everyday, they need bath in after 1 or 2 days, with mild hot water.
And, it also depend that weather of your living area,
if it cold than don’t bathe daily.
Once a week for the first few months just because their skin is so sensative and can dry out easy. In between I do baby wipes on the icky spots like under the neck and the hands/face.
Once they’re around 4-5mths you can go up to 2-3x a week with baths depending on the skin type. My son had horrible eczema so I had to stick to 1 bath a week for the first year.
Fortunately, your baby probably doesn’t really need a daily bath. In fact, you probably only need to give your baby a bath every two or three days.
Some babies, especially those who spit up very often, may need a bath every day though. Or you may just need to "spot wash" those areas that get dirty.
Baths and Dry Skin
Won’t a daily bath dry out your baby’s skin?
Maybe, but it usually won’t if you have a good bath time routine.
This can include using a mild, soap-free, fragrance-free soap substitute, such as Aquaphor Gentle Wash for Baby, Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, Dove Sensitive Skin Body Wash, or Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash.
Other baby bath washes, may also be soap free, but may include a fragrance or dyes that can irritate your baby’s skin.
If you prefer a bar "soap," then consider using Dove Sensitive Skin Unscented Beauty Bar or Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar.
Baths and Moisturizers
Most importantly, whether you give your baby a bath every day or just twice a week, to help prevent her skin from drying out, it is important to moisturize her skin properly.
And the best way to do that is to dry her skin quickly and then apply a very generous amount of moisturizer all over. Good choices include Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment, Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream, or Eucerin Original Moisturizing Lotion. The key though, is applying it while her skin is still a little wet to help trap in some of the moisture, which usually means trying to apply the moisturizer within two or three minutes of ending the bath.
