How many times does a newborn baby wake up at night?
On average how many times does a newborn wake up during the night? Do you feed your baby every time the baby wakes up at night? I don’t have much experience with babies but I’m pregnant with twins.

I have twins as well. They are 5 years old now! They usually woke up every 2-3 hours at first. If one woke up i fed and changed him/her and then I would wake the other change and feed that way they are on the same schedule. Yes you should feed and change them each time they wake up. Good luck!
every two to three hrs
A brand new baby? It ranges from every 1-5 hours. There were nights my son woke up every 45 minutes for several hours, there were nights when he sacked out for five hours straight. Yes, when they are new you feed them every time they wake up.
Yes, you should feed a newborn every time they wake up during the night. The number of times they wake differs from baby to baby. Some (not many) will sleep through right from when they are born and some will wake upwards of ten times a night. My daughter would wake only once or twice during the night, but I think I was very lucky. Just go with the flow, you will be surprised how naturally it all comes.
Between the hours of 8.00pm and 8.00am, it can be anything between once and 5 times.
Once being rare, and 5 times, well, it’s only at the very beginning! Doesn’t last very long.
My son would wake up about every 3 to 4 hours the first 2 weeks. Since he would wake up every 3 to 4 hours and we only gave him 2 ounces of formula (every 2 hours, for the most part), then we’d go ahead and feed him every time he woke up, along with changing if needed. Every child is different. Everyone said I had an easy baby because he didn’t wake up every hour or evey two hours. Once he was about 3 or 4 months, he would take about 4 ounces every 4 hours or so, and we’d give him some baby cereal in his bottle at night before bedtime, and he would only wake up once a night. Every single baby is different though. I’ve never had twins, but I’ve heard it’s a lot easier if you get them on or close to the same schedule.
They’re all different but for the first couple to few weeks it going to most likely be every few hours
Generally, newborns will wake every 3-4 hours for a feed – could be less, could be more. From my experience only, my second baby ‘slept through’ from one week old. By sleeping through, this meant a five hour sleep through the night, which was pretty good. However, this didn’t last long, and then went on to feed every 2-3 hours through the night. You just have to play it by ear…Best of luck!
My little girl woke up every 3 hours for a feed and yes i fed her every time she woke up at night
my son is 13 days old
some nights, he’s good and he’ll sleep up to 4 hours. other nights, like last night, he’ll wake up every hour.
