At that age I would say about 2-3 big cans. My son drank about 3-4oz in the beginning so they do last a little bit longer. But heads up don’t buy a bunch ahead of time because you never know if your baby will "agree" with it and the stores do not let you exchange or return them and then you have cans of formula sitting there that cannot be used
and they are not cheap. Congrats and good luck
Well babies should feed on a schedule……so it depends on your schedule. Every 2 hrs, or if its 3 hrs, plus the amount of formula that you put in the bottle matters too
I usually buy the small cans – and my daughter uses about 10 of them a month. So the bigger cans are double the ounces so I would say 5 cans of the bigger ones.
By the way it also depends on the age – my daughter is 4 1/2 months old if that helps.
My son uses one a week..so 4 a month.
We used 4-5 a month. One a week.
We go through one tin a week. However, he is 4 months old.
Newborns dont drink that much.
Once opened though a tin last for 4 weeks.
You should ATLEAST try to breastfeed first. That’ll save you a ton of money right away. And it’s the best for your baby. But I’d say 4-5 big cans a month.
When my son was on formula (after he was 3 months old), he went through 1 big can a week.
I used to buy 4 big cans at that age.
