All of my children were born over 9lbs, so newborn clothes never fit them. Preemies can typically wear newborn clothes for a couple months or so, but most average weight babies barely wear them at all. Maybe a month.... at the very most. Most newborn clothes are for babies "under 8 lbs", so.... like I said, most babies never wear them at all. Many babies never fit "newborn" sizes at all.
