how can i make a baby blanket without a sewing machine?

i know how to knit quite well, but its really had for me to cast on 100 stitches. i wont have a sewing machine. is there any was to make a CUTE baby blanket without one?

Yes you can! One idea is to make a fleece tie blanket with just two pieces of fleece and scissors.

You are only limited by what cute fleece you can find. It’s also cute to make a smaller doll size one for a girl to have a matching one for her dolly.

100 stitches isn’t too bad to cast on. I always use stitch markers — put them about every 20 stitches, so you don’t lose count, if that is where you have trouble.
Or you can knit panels of 20-30 stitches wide, and then stitch them together. You can do them in different colours, and that can look quite nice. Even make squares and seam them together. Each one can be a different colour and pattern. You get to try out different patterns, and the kid will love the bright colours.
A baby blanket that is popular right now is the one knit on the diagonal. You cast on one stitch. You then increase two stitches in it for a total of 3 (knit front, back, front is the usual first row). After the first row, increase one stitch at each end of the row. When you’ve knit enough rows that the two sides of the triangle are the length and width you want, start decreasing one stitch each side each row. You can knit color blocks, stripes, or a pattern as you please.
If that doesn’t work for you, use a yard-square piece of double-faced flannel or fleece. Crochet an edging around all four sides. If you don’t crochet, hand-sew a blanket binding on all four sides or use yarn to embroider a blanket stitch around all four sides.
The baby blanket my 2-year-old grandson won’t sleep without is made of 4 strands of Lion Brand Homespun held together and knit on size 50 needles using the diagonal pattern above. It took maybe 4-5 hours to knit. Fortunately, I had 5 skeins of the yarn, because one of the skeins ran out way before the other three did and the fifth skein had to be used. There was a lot left over to make pompoms for the corners.
if you use a bulky or super bulky yarn with size 15 needles, you wont need to cast on 100 stitches.
