Red Heart Baby Clouds is soft and fluffy. It also goes through the washing machine and tumble dryer beautifully on warm or medium. You can’t wash it on hot, but it washes beautifully at any other temp. Baby Clouds is also a big yarn, so you’ll be able to get done quickly. It works up on 8mm to 10mm needles (10mm is a US size 15) depending on how tight you like it. It’s available at Joann’s and Michaels, as well as many online stores. Check eBay. The same yarn is also sold as Light & Lofty and Bright & Lofty, depending on the range of colors offered. Check and see what’s available. You will likely need about 20oz to 24oz of yarn.
With this yarn, you don’t need to worry about making a pattern. It looks great in garter stitch (knit every row) because the yarn is absolutely lovely. Since you’ll be using large needles, you’ll cast on about 70 to 80 stitches. Knit until the piece is about 20% to 25% longer than it is wide. Cast off. Add a simple crocheted border, if you like. Pattern, schmattern. Who needs them?
