Does anybodys baby take there blanket & put it over there head?

Sine my son was born I’ve never been able to give him a blanket cause he puts it over his face & starts kicking & when you take the blanket off his face he thinks its just the funniest things in the world. Now he is 10 months & I tried giving him a blanket again & he did the same thing right away so I just make sure I dress him according to the temperature at night since he can’t use a blanket. Will he ever stop doing this? Did your baby do this?

Yep, my son does this too!
He loves to grab his blanket and pull it right over his head to sleep! I just let him do it but once he’s asleep I go and take the blanket off his head and usually he won’t pull it back over before the morning.
At 10 months there should be NOTHING in the crib with your son. He doesn’t need a blanket or pillow or anything where he could smother himself. Dress him in the same thing you would wear to bed. We have our A/C on now where we live and my son is 19 months, he sleeps in a t-shirt and shorts, that’s it…no blanket. If you feel your son will be chilly then put pants on him.
My daughter always does that. I found out if you put it under there armpits and tuck in under them kind of tight they can’t do that. Since he’s 10 months I doubt that will work cuz they are stronger and move around more.
LOL my son is also 10 months old and he has also done the same exact thing you say your son does.
my daughter did this as well as a baby. she is 9 now and sleeps with blanket still over her head! lol. when she was a baby i would just let her fall asleep that way and then take off after is sound asleep. now i just let her sleep that way.
My daughter does this but i just let her go 2 sleep then i go.back and take it off. Shes 8 months so i dont kno when they stop my 4 other boys didnt like blankets so i codnt tell u how lomg it will last
My baby does it too! She’s 7 months old now. I let her fall asleep that way but then i go pull it down after I know she is asleep. I don’t know what it is but my mom said I did the same thing, and everyone flips out abou them smothering themselves. If you are keeping an eye on them that won’t happen.
Yes! My daughter is 6 months and also does this.
She also always puts her bib on her face. She has one of those little cuddle blankets, like the stuffed animal but is a blanket, that she has to take everywhere with her.. even to bed. She puts that on her face as well, so I usually check on her every few minutes until she falls asleep and then I move it out of her way but she can’t fall asleep without it.
