Yes, I buy and sell baby clothes all the time on ebay. New stuff usually sells much better and brand name stuff like Gymboree and Gap will sell better than store brands like Circo (Target) and Faded Glory (Walmart). But selling lots of gently used items will go okay, too, you just may not get a lot for them.
If you have multiples of things. . .say 4 pairs of footed pajamas in size 6 months. . .sell them together as a lot. Don’t try to sell things individually unless they are very specific – like "New Finding Nemo Pajamas" or "Batman costume" kind of thing. If you have 6 boxes of stuff it will take you FOREVER to list things individually + will probably not be that profitable after the fees, shipping, etc.

IN ADDITION: If you have stuff with tags still on it, why not return it? Most stores will give you store credit even if you don’t have a receipt. I have done that several times with clothes my little ones have outgrown before they got a chance to wear.
2nd Addition: Julie -LOL! I hadn’t read your answer before I wrote mine, I thought it was funny that we both said that about Gymboree and Gap. . .you can tell we’re both ebayers!!
You could try taking it to a consignment shop or you could sell it on craigslist.
I buy my children clothes on Ebay all of the time. I also sell on Ebay regularly. If they are not brand name ( Gymboree, Gap ) then I would sell them as a lot ( all together ). You have to pay for each listing you put up, so if you don’t think they will go for much separately then put them all together to avoid more fees.
My as bought my baby brother garrett clothes in the past i think? you could try ebay but make sure is baby safe likee zippers to pull or choke on and so fourth, If you are not happy with ebay try babys R Us

I’ve purchased clothes for my daughter on Ebay and have sold them. Sell it in lots of the same size. If there is a lot of clothes of the same size, you could even divide them up by season. The shipping will be expensive though, so make sure you weigh the box of clothes to make sure you charge the winning bidder the correct amount.
Yes, people really do buy baby clothes on ebay. My mother bought my son a whole box of clothes on ebay that were really nice. My mother in law also bought my kids and my nephews some clothes on ebay just last week. If you sell it by the box you will probably get more out of it. Just make sure you add pictures of the items to the ad.
