honeslty, even to get wic you cxould still have a nice chunk of income. its not like everyone who is on wic gets foodstamps and other help form the government i think you can make more then 30,000 and still receive wic. so not EVERYONE there is TOO needy. but at my local wic office there isd a bin of clothes/shoes toys whatever most of the stuff always looks so old and worn down. i would donate to a church before wic
I know my WIC office only takes unopened cans of formula, baby food, and baby cereal. If you want to give the stuff to someone who is needy you can always donate it to a local church charity or you can go to wishuponahero.com and see if there are any families there that are in need of them.
How about a shelter for abused women if there is one near by.
It really depends on your county. My urban county does not take anything. My sister’s county, which is quite poor, takes things to give to those who need it. Contact Social Services in your county and ask. Ask your WIC office.
Another option is to go online and see if you can find a Mothers of Multiples, MOST or similar group. Not all moms expecting twins or triplets went through fertility treatments and can use all the help they can get. I currently donate any free formula that comes my way to a local group and the group makes sure it gets to someone who really needs it.
