Have you ever lost your babies socks at the most inconveniet time? Me and my son were walking through the mall- not shopping just walking to get out of the house. I had him in his snugli and I just happen to touch his feet and both of his socks were gone! Mind you it is really cold here right now so people must have thought I was an unfit mother for bringing my 4 month old out without socks! I thought it was kind of funny. I walked back and forth looking for them and cold not find them. Anyone have any funny stories about there babies clothes or socks?
Kat-that is too funny! i always say my son was the fastest sperm and people look at me like i am nuts.
I also always find my dogs get ahold of them when they fall off. maybe they digested them thats why there are so many missing ones I still cant find…lol
I usually never put socks on him but it was part of an outfit he got and it looked so cute that i couldnt resist!
just a thought- i have seen the footed sleepers for children up to 6 years old. try target i have seen them there

Hello! I was wondering if any of you on here have tried to make your own burp cloths? Our baby isn’t due til March and we will be having a shower in January. I don’t sew but my husband can. I was just wondering what type of material to use to make cloths? I know they have those thick bulky ones but I’ve heard of people using 2 pieces of flannel put together but is there anything in between it or not? Or maybe a few towels sewn together? It doesn’t have to be thick like those diaper ones they sell. I thought it would be kind of cool and colorful if we could do SOME burp cloths ourselves.
What do you think?
Oh, it would have to be for hand sewing and how big do you guys think they should be??

My formal dress is baby pink with white shoes. I’m wondering what colour hair I should have for it? I dont’ suit blonde though.

If so, when and why?
I’m only asking b/c I saw several answers to a different question regarding shoes. I’m not trying to criticize or judge, I just didn’t realize so many babies wore shoes. Thanks!
Yes, Ellie, yours was one. I meant to ask this a few days ago when seeing another question also.
Johnny’s mommy… someone asked me yesterday why my son didn’t have socks on (or asked him, "where are your socks", rather). We were outside and it was 105 degrees! I’m glad I’m not alone on that one.

which shoes do you think are the best for a new 10 month old walker? so far i’ve bought little pumas but it’s really annoying that she undoes her shoe laces all the time.

I wake up and see him doing the same routine. He also uses baby wipes instead of toilet tissue.
Any idea what he’s doing?

I just saw a resolved question like this where the BA had a 1yr old who wore 6-9 month size clothes… this baffles me lol because my 8 month old is wearing 18-24m! So just curious, baby’s age, gender and what size? Also, what shoe size? My daughters size 3 shoes are getting kind of small on her… not that babies need shoes… they’re just for pictures lol
Aren’t girls supposed to be a little smaller? Haha I guess she’s a big girl. 20.5 lbs and 31 in tall.
