Problems with clothes for my newborn?
My baby is 6 weeks old and she doesn’t quite fit her 0-3 months clothes. She can fit in her t-shirts, but not the pants. She is about 9 1/2 pounds right now and a little over 22 inches. I know she’s longer then the average baby is. But it’s starting to get cold and her pants fall off of her when I try them on. Is their any baby clothing stores that have pants that should fit her? I’ve tried babysrus, gymboree, baby gap… Nothing works. It’s starting to get cold… Does this mean she’ll be wearing sleepers for a while and long sleeve tshirts? Any suggestions?
Does anybody really buy baby clothes on eBay?
I have 6-7 boxes full of baby clothes (just newborn to 6 months!) They are either brand new or have only been worn a couple times. My son was given so much when he was born that he couldn’t wear them all by the time he grew out of the size. I tried having a yard sale to sell it all and wasn’t very lucky so I’m hoping to make some money somehow. I plan to give it to Salvation Army or Goodwill if I can’t do anything else and possibly keep some for myself just in case we plan to have another baby in the future but we are moving to a much smaller space and I have to get rid of it. Any suggestions other than giving it away? Would someone really buy it on eBay? If so how should I do it?
Thanks
Parents who did not find out the baby's sex beforehand, what did you do about baby clothes?
My husband really wants to be surprised. I would rather find out, but I wouldn’t be able to keep it a secret from him
The problem I have is that I was walking through the baby section today and realized there are NO gender-neutral baby clothes anymore! At first I thought we’d have to get everything in green, yellow and red, but colors aren’t the problem – everything has either ruffles or a truck on it. So I’m worried if we really don’t find out until the birth that we’ll have to buy both boy and girl newborn clothes (even the onesies were definitely one or the other unless they were plain white!) and have to put off buying anything else until the baby is born. How did you handle it?
Plus I really don’t want to have to do a lot of shopping with a newborn, and my husband cannot be trusted to pick out even his OWN clothes, lol.
I’m not having a shower since we live 2300 miles away from everyone we know right now. I think if we get anything from friends and family it will be in the form of a gift card.
Your thoughts on Ivory Snow for newborn's clothes?
Has anyone used Ivory Snow? Is it worth it to use on newborn clothes? I have already washed all my baby’s clothes waiting for her arrival, and my mother-in-law is so set on re-washing them in Ivory Snow, "just to get the ‘baby’ smell". My washer is a front loader, and you can’t get Ivory Snow in HE detergent, so she’s going to do it at her house in her washer. Thing is, is it really necessary? Seems like a waste of time and money to me…
Do I HAVE to use Dreft for my newborn clothes?
I just had my baby shower and received TONS of clothes and blankets, of course I want to wash them and have them ready for when my baby comes. Do I HAVE to use baby detergent (like Dreft) or is it ok if I just use my regular laundry detergent???
question about baby clothes sizes?
so i dont have any "newborn" size clothes, but i have lots of 0-3 months. can i just start the baby out wearing 0-3 months? the tags say from 8-12 lbs. if baby is really smaller than that i will go get smaller clothes, but i would rather just use the clothes we have recieved as shower gifts. i doubt baby will be that small. at 30 weeks they said she was in the 70th percentile and her daddy is a giant.
so will 0-3 months be way to big for a newborn, or will it most likely work?
newborn baby clothes for the sims 2?
I was just wondering if you can download new born baby clothes for sims 2 can you change the clothes they wear by going to the baby changing table????
Anyone know where I can find free baby girl and baby boy clothes free…?
…I like to give to people who dont have much. So I’m looking for as many baby clothes as I can from newborn to 3 yrs old, to in turn give back to people who really need it.
