free babysitting! she will really appreciate that. how about one of the things you listed and 10 free hours of babysitting and a starbucks giftcard (she will need caffiene)? good luck
Baby Uggs should b cute.
buy something for the mum, people always get the baby presants, and the mum can feel left out. she has just given birth!!!
all nice ideas
but get the mommy a spa day and you baby sit while she goes..she’ll love that…
either the baby uggs or a cute diaper bag.
I know that a lot of good designers make cute diaper bags.
any thing tiny and cute like bib?i’m sure u get the idea
A camera. Baby’s outgrow the clothes, but your friend will love having a nice camera or digital frame to take pictures of the baby every day. You can get a decent camera for under 100 bucks, or get her the Pure Digital video camcorder. It’s about $100, and she’ll be able to upload videos to youtube, or just to email. It’s very easy to use and really no setup required.
My mom got me a cute diaper bag with the babies initials on it . I adore it.
I also like boppy pillows. They help support the baby when you are feeding her. They are found at Target.
I would’ve really appreciated some spa treatment after I had my baby! That would be a really nice gift.
buy her a diaper bag then fill it with things like butt paste, baby shampoo, cloth or disposable diapers, wipes. Then put in mom care items like bath salts, pads. tucks( great for perniel care) and teas.
the gift don’t matter it’s your presence the counts, best friends need best friends at this time
onesies are pretty much what the baby will wear during first few months.diapers are good idea. bottles and socks lots of these.also some i volunteer to babysit offers from close friends?
How bout you buy something for the mum???? everyone always focusses on the baby for presents, but the mum deserves stuff too. so how bout a pamper pack for her or a voucher to a beauty salon or massage, do something for your best friend
ooohhh fun!!! Buy a bunch of cloths. My girlfriend spoiled us at our shower. She bought a bunch of cloths and clipped them to a rope with cloths pins. She stacked them on top of each other inside a cloths hamper. At the end of the rope was a note that said "pull slowly" I kept pulling and pulling and pulling. There were so many cute things. Pants, shirts, socks, tights, body suits. Her cloths line was 3 banquet tables long. It was amazing. Everyone clapped at her gift. I know she felt just as good giving it as we did receiving it. It was also a great way to give a good assortment of sizes.
If you want to do the diaper bag you could fill it with newborn size diapers. That could be a little personal though. Someone did that for me but I hated the diapers she gave me and I never used them. They weren’t as soft as the diapers we had gotten use to in the hospital. I prefer pampers.
cloths,bottles,nipples,dippers,wipies,a blanket,a toy or 2.
u can never go wrong with a cute baby diaper bag
baby uggs are the cutest things ever also baby converse or addidas if u go to this website u can see a bunch of that http://www.journeyskidz.com/ it has shoes for babys but it won’t look like it when u first look at it. also a baby blanket with the name of the baby would be cute same with the name on a bib or mittens ect. before u go to jouney kidz look at these they are some shoes i found that are cute and cheap http://www.journeyskidz.com/catalog_detail.aspx?c=brand&s=girls/Vans&id=21475

these are just a few i’ll add more if u add anything onto additional details and i will do that
well maybe you could make her something usefull. my mom does cross stitch and when friends or family is having a baby she makes them a cute cross stitch bib. they can use it if they want. we have one family that puts them in baby boxes for their children to have when they are old enough. hope i gave you a good idea. (i think if i were a mom i would want plenty of clothes just in case.)
honestly i know this will sound cheap but dipers! lots of dipers and wipes and dont get baby gap clothes there over priced and a new born will out grow then fast maybe some little oneze from walmart but i really appreciated diapers for my baby shower!
I’m all about useful things:
Moby Wrap or other soft baby carrier/sling http://www.mobywrap.com/
My Brest Friend Nursing Pillow http://www.amazon.com/Brest-Friend-Deluxe-Pillow-Light/dp/B000HZI1QS
Ultimate Crib Sheets http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2267582
Bouncy Chair for Baby http://www.toysrus.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=2536788
Activity Mat (Gymini) if you want to buy a toy http://www.amazon.com/Tiny-Love-Gymini-Super-Deluxe/dp/B000067K0L
Or something for mom (spa gift certificate; dinner gift certificate for romantic dinner before the baby comes)
A diaper bag sounds like a good idea. Just make sure it is functional
If you buy clothes, larger sizes (3-6 months or 6-9 months) are better as gifts
What NOT to get:
Over-priced baby clothes
Baby clothes with a lot of separate pieces (one-piece footed sleepers are most useful)
Soft bedding and soft toys (suffocation risk if used in the crib)
Baby booties are useless
spa for mommy,,
Theres a kit where parents can keep their baby’s hand and foot prints from when they were born and can keep it forever. It’s like plaster that will dry and will keep that print forever. Try going to craft shops, baby shops for it. Someone will have it.
