baby showers?

i have a question…..what are your thoughts on MEN in baby showers….I mean are they allowed to come,or are they suppose to be there?Just wondering

my first baby was a girls only shower. it was… fun… sorta. kinda boring.
my second baby we had a co-ed shower, barbecue and swim party. it was a blast!
i think you can do it either way. my baby shower was just girls mostly b/c the husbands didn’t want to come, but i’ve heard of couple showers and i think that would be kind of fun.
There are such things as co-ed baby showers, although obviously not as popular as the old fashioned "women only" baby showers.
All depends on the person you are some people have men there some don’t
If guys are invited, have a couples shower. If it’s just one or two, that’s ok too.
At my godchild-to-be’s baby shower some out of town guests brought along a guy. He felt sooo out of place until we broke out the scavenger hunt ice breaker. He had a fanny pack (the yr was 1994) and pulled it out and happily found things on the list!
If you expect a couple guy tag alongs or invite them, make sure they feel welcomed. They’ll have just as much fun (if not more) than the ladies!!!
I think that there is nothing wrong with men at baby showers… it is a shower for the baby so I think that if the father wants to put up with all the women and the games then go for it!
ive only ever been to baby showers w/o men.

Both my hubby and I come from small immediate families but large extended families. We had a family baby shower at the park! The men had a blast playing with their kids in the playground. EVERYONE had fun eating and talking! Good luck!
I think that man at a baby show is up to you but the father of the soon to be baby should diffidently should be there but it is up to you if you want other man to be there i do not think they would really like it but i don’t know.
It’s totally up to you ~ I had all women at mine ~ but it’s perfectly acceptable to have men and women
Personally, I think it’s great when the fathers come to the baby showers! It’s their child, too.
My husband, both our dads, my brother-in-law, and hubby’s brother and uncle (from out of town) all came to the shower.
