Am I safe to start buying baby clothes at 22 weeks?

I found out I’m expecting a daughter and I can’t wait to go and buy a load of pink stuff the thing is I’m so worried about having a miscarriage. In my first trimester I had a lot of heavy bleeding and even passed clots and I’ve been worried ever since. When did u start buying baby clothes and do you think I’m safe to buy them at 22 weeks? I think your are perfectly safe to start buying all sorts of pretty pink things for her! The risk of a m/c after the first trimester goes down greatly!! I’m only 19 weeks (also had some bleeding 2 weeks ago) and I’ve already started shopping for out little one.
I also bleed lots in the first trimester I’m 24 weeks now and started buy stuff for my son when i found out at 22 weeks! if something did happen now it would be a stillborn no more miscarriage
I know exactly how you feel….I had a miscarriage between my son and this pregnancy at 9 weeks gestation. When we got pregnant with this baby(I am now 33 weeks pregnant)I was so nervous. I thought everything I could do would jinx it. I didnt even go to the doctor until 13 weeks! However, you are past the 20 week mark which is pretty safe that a miscarriage wont occur. You are even past the incompentant cervix mark…we went on vacation when I was 20 weeks and thats when we started buying clothes for our daughter…I have been buying right along and am pretty stocked up!

i started buying baby clothes at like 18 weeks, i even brought a crib. Im 38 weeks now and cant wait for this baby to come. i would say your pretty safe to start buying clothes. my sister had three baby girls, one who just turn 5, the other just turn 1 and the last one is about a month old, she had bleeding at the beginning of all her pregnancy and they all turn out fine.
I think its safe for you to start shopping! If you really do have a miscarriage, you could always save the clothes and try for another baby. But, I think you and your baby will be perfectly fine! I wish you good luck, and have fun shopping! (:
I can understand your hesitation. After three miscarriages I was scared to death to start shopping for my son. However after the first trimester was over and we had the anatomy scan and saw that he was ok I shopped my heart out lol I started to shop at 18 weeks
I bought a little here and there until I felt comfortable enough to do the big stuff. Im now 36 weeks pregnant and I cant wait to see him! Go shop a little 
it might make you feel a little better about the pregnancy too. It was a great way for me to actually start enjoying pregnancy instead of being scared of what could happen. Congratulations on your little girl
