My daughter is 18 months old and has been pretty healthy so far in life. But since she was very little she has had a skin rash problem that has only gotten worse. I have taken her to the doctor about 5 times at least especially for this and everytime they give her a cream that hasnt helped at all. Most recently the doctor told me change detergents to All (the dye free and fragrance free kind) and i am wondering. anyone else’s child has a rash on most of their body like this? its on her stomach, legs, arms, feet and hands. its not really on her back or her neck or face. what could this be? dont say ezcema because her older sister has that and we have been treating it fine so far.

Every time I wash my American Apparel Hoodies, Forest Green, Navy Blue, and Black, the colors bleed on to the white pull strings. How can I stop this from happening when washing them for the first time? I use Tide Cold Water detergent and fabric softener.

My girlfriend and I are trying to find information on this, but everything that comes up is about the negative effects of smoking during pregnancy. Statistics are mainly the percentages of women that smoked during pregnancy and other stats about their demographics. When asking the general public, a surprising number of people report healthy deliveries after the mother smoked during the pregnancy. But where are the studies for this? We want a REAL answer of how many babies are born without complications when the mother smoked during her pregnancy. Where can we find this information? What info can you provide?

mine baby is almost 10mon old…c has extreme dry skin…her ped told its form of eczema ..i use the prescribe ointment too…but every time igive her bath with soap..(i tried many johnson,aveeno baby)..but all is making her skin super dry..n it look like her skin is totally dehydrated…wht can i do to make her skin look n feel softer n smoother…if its is eczema. is it permanent skin rash or it goes aways as thy grow up..

wht causes dry skin ?is it bcos of heater or weather ?

wht treatment, soap, lotion etc can heal her dry skin ?

A big problem with a lot of my jackets/hoodies is that when i throw them in the washer/dryer, to shrink, it gets messed up because the zipper doesnt shrink with it. Another example I have with snap button jackets is that the ribbing doesn’t shrink proportionately with the jacket either. Is there any way I can fix them back to normal? What advice would you give me for future jackets?

My one month old has real bad diaper rash. My sister tells me it’s the wipes. I use Huggies sensitive wipes. I also use Desitin and Balmex whenever I change his diapers. The ointment only reduces the skin rash. I want it to go away forever what should I do?

My son is 11 months old and started to go to a creche when he was 9 months old. He has some rashes on his face, neck and back which some say is heat rash cos we live in the tropics but the normal cures with prickly Heat powder has not helped. We have also used Fungusol lotion and powder but no visible changes have been seen. What do I do now. Doctors don’t seem to know what it is, Two doctors now think it is measles but without the other symptoms of fever, cough and redness of eye it cannot be said to be measles.
