I chose a firmer mattress for our baby’s crib because I heard it should be as firm as possible for safety reasons. But now i am feeling like it’s going to be really uncomfortable. Is it safe to use a thin mattress pad, just to give it a little bit of cushion?
My aunt just made my baby girl about 10 diffrent baby shoes! But they are all size 0 ! About how long will she fit in them???
My mothers friends are adopting a baby girl from China and it is a custom in china to have 100 friends help make a Bai Jia Bei which means "Blanket of Good Wishes" You can put a simple good wish of health, a poem, or a song lyric. As a child I remember music as being one of my favorite things, therefore, I wanted to do a song lyric.
My question is; Does anyone know a good song to quote?
I’d like it to be something acoustic or something she would be able to listen to someday and smile.

Ok, so I am very interested in starting a clothing line. I already have a name for it, but I would also like some names for the different themes. I was thinking of "tutti fruity" for one but that is already the name of a clothing line. I would like some theme names for the different categories. One category will be animal themed, the other will be fruit themed. Can you help me come up with some more themes and names? Please be creative as well as conservative because it’s a kids line. if it helps you can also include my cousins names.

Bellisema Vertown, I have grown here, a place like no other.
Nothing can quite explain how this place comes across to us. Enchanting as you might say. It would destroy anything that enters Bellisema. No human could survive but I am no human; I was born here.
Flourishing green grass throughout every mile of Bellisema travelling along the river of magna. Fine shades of all types of red flowers, surrounding the small cottages.
When the sun sets and the sky is a ruby with deep purple, and when the darkness comes and all you can see is the Fire City, the glass towers lighted up with a crimson and apricot layer advancing before your eyes. That’s when it enters my head This Is Home.
Bellisema is the town our races lives in, The race of the Il Clan Fuoco as known as The Fire Clan.
I am Skyla Veron one of the many Fire Childs that are here in Bellisema.
"You are not what you think you are……," I gasped the voice it was so clear in my mind.
Why? Were things like this happening to me. The unusual voices in my head. The dreams I have been enduring each night.
I sat upright in bed trying to remember the dream I had visioned this night. It came to me immediately of course. Same dream each night for a week now.
It wasn’t a bad fantasy it was quite a pleasant one. I am swaying to the soft melody that fills the ballroom, the ballroom with the fine golden engraved walls with the elements twisting and unfolding along with them. I stand there on the finely crystalised shimmering floor in a long flamboyant maroon flock glistening as the light of the glass roof hits it. My hand resting on a stunning, flawless boys shoulder. As his hand caresses my waist.
Oh, but this boy is of course no typical gent. Not of my race, the race of the Ice Childs. As his eyes, silver and diamond like stare luminously into mine.
However the dream may change in its small ways but it seems to end with the same ending me gazing up at the roof of glass and in return I stand there with Silver eyes, the eyes of an Ice Child.
"Why your a Fire Child, should you be having such dreams as this?" I cringed.
Okay.. I am just imagining voices in my head. Plus what they are saying are correct, I shouldn’t be having dreams such as this.
I walked over to my vanity mirror, untying my hair as it fell midway down my back. I put my face close enough to the mirror, probably close enough to find every freckle I didn’t know I had. I widened my eye examing.
Red/Yellow Hazel, I took a breath in relief. Not even a spot of silver.
"Stupid.." I whispered to myself. I was a Fire Child. Why would I re-consider that because of a dream? Or some voices in my head.
"Skyla" I immediatley new the hoarse voice that came from the hall outside my room. Squaring my shoulders and standing tall I walked over and opened my bedroom door. "Hello Lance" I smiled a weary smile, no meaning behind it.
Lance Beldmore, it seemed all the Adolescent Females at the acadmey were fascinated by Lances admirable good looks, and charms. But me I found absolute no connection to Lance whatsoever.
He of course had his theorys of this, but Lance was used to getting everything he desired. Desiring me in fact.
It wasn’t that Lance wasn’t charming, I give him that he knew how to win people over.
However he was regular. Bringing no excitement or adventure to me at all.
That’s what exactly what I need.
"You look quite stunning today Skyla" At this I managed to control the chuckle that tryed to escape my mouth.
"Ah yes, Im sure your aware of the fact I am in my bed clothes, and that my hair is clinging to my face in sweat yet I still have not had a shower from the practice battle last night"
To much information I suppose.
Lance smiled at this "Yes Yes, I see past all that but I will let you go have a shower my dear" With this he bent over gently kissing my hand as he winked and dissapeared into the hall. I must say he did have a charm, plus his amazingly good in combat. But I seek danger unlike hardly any of the Fire people in Bellisema.
I wandered down the hallway to the lavatory, I longed for a steaming hot shower.
Turning on the shower, I took a step to let the water splash against my body. Jumping back in shock, A sensation an awareness sent straight through my body continuing down my spine. It was something that in my existance I have never felt before. I stared down at the tap I had twisted the cold on by accident, I never understood why we had a cold tap none of us felt the difference.
I gasped in astonishment, "No.. It’s not possible" I muttered to myself knowing no one was around to hear me. I searched my brain for possible answers, but I had learnt this before.
The words teared at my brain as I tryed to think of a reasonable reason that it wasnt what I thought. But it was I was sure… I Skyla Veron had just felt the Cold.

The pediatrician I go to encourages parents to make the meats for the babies. Do you recommend any food processors or food mills?
Also, do you recommend a particular baby gate? I need to install a gate at the top of the stairs. I bought the KidCo Center Gateway, but I’m not sure about it.

I can’t tell the difference between the 2 & my son has out grown his size 1-2 diapers, so do I go to size 2 or straight to size 3?
