My SIL works in a nursery and she told me that it’s a nuisance when parents don’t pack an extra set of clothes for the babies / toddlers. So much so that to get their point across, when a child needs a change of clothes and they don’t have a set of their own, they will dress the boys in girls clothes and vice versa.

I think this is very cruel and degrading. She thought it was funny. What are your thoughts on this?

I am curious what others have done or plan on doing with their newborns and getting them vaccinated.
I feel horrible injecting a tiny newborn with all those things… but I haven’t done any real research into the subject.

I want to apply to children, baby, or toddler stores.
I have applied to as many Toy’s R’ Us that I can and still no job offer, so I was wondering what are the names of some other stores that involve children and less adult clothing, not just a regular department store with SOME kids clothes?
It can be a toy store, or clothing, prefer clothing, but anything would help.
I have looked up Carter’s but no jobs in the area.
Anything else?

I am desperate, I have no clue how to write it. I have a three weeks old baby and I need to write affidavit of proof of his identity. Could somebody give me a link to a website or give me an example of what exactly their should be written? I am not american, English is my second language, so I am really having a hard time figuring those things out.

I was wondering if any moms with experience could help me with a baby gate. I am looking for a short (less then 28 inches) and somewhat wide (at least 30 inch) baby gate. It needs to be able to attach to a wall with baseboard on one side and a bannister on the opposite. The bannister is attached to a wall at the bottom square part. Any help would be great I have tried about 5 different gates and looked at hundreds.. I need some help!

My son is one month old and me and my fiance are supposed to be traveling somewhere during the last week of October. We are traveling by vehicle. I was wondering is it safe to travel with an infant this early due to all the germs that’s out there.

Johnny’s mommy… someone asked me yesterday why my son didn’t have socks on (or asked him, "where are your socks", rather). We were outside and it was 105 degrees! I’m glad I’m not alone on that one.

I’m trying to conceive and expect to very soon! Probably March or April. And am starting my list of wants/needs for the baby. And have been looking at bedding for almost 3 weeks and have found nothing suitable in looks or in price. Can someone PLEASE tell me where to find cute, affordable crib bedding for either boy or girl as we do not know the gender of what we will conceive? Thanks!
I am aware of the things you said about duvets, pillows and bumpers causing breathing problems/SIDS but I’m just getting prepared. I never said I was going to buy the stuff, I am just finding stuff I like now because we are just now planning to try to conceive and if we can’t conceive, we can’t conceive. He is coming back home soon, he is out of state currently, so we plan on trying then. Like I said, I don’t plan on buying anything until I do conceive! I’m just trying to find stuff I do like because I’m very picky and a perfectionist.
